Cassouto & Co. is a leading boutique firm that specializes in commercial and civil litigation and handles large-scale and complex cases. The firm was founded in 2003 by Adv. Shmulik Cassouto, and is renowned as one of the Israel’s leading law firms. The office primarily deals with complex cases that require creative legal thinking and thinking outside the box. The Partners

Adv. Shmulik Cassouto, Founding Partner - Adv. Cassouto has 27 years of experience in the legal profession and he specializes in civil-commercial litigation, companies law, communication law and class actions. Over the years, he has been handling, before courts of all levels, complex litigation cases with large financial implications, and he also provides ongoing legal counsel to commercial entities from the firm’s clientele, including various media entities. He was formerly a partner in the law firm of Dr. Y. Segev until his retirement from that firm in August 2003 and the opening of his private firm. By education he has an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University.
Adv. Tal Gutmer, Partner - Adv. Gutmer has 18 years of experience in the legal profession and she specializes in civil – commercial litigation and handles complex litigation cases in diverse areas, including contracts law, companies law, tort, defamation, privacy protection and court appearances. By education she has a B.A., Business Administration and an LL.B. (cum laude) from IDC Herzliya.
Adv. Ronen Buch, Partner - Adv. Buch has 16 years of experience in the legal profession and he specializes in managing complex large-scale civil-commercial litigation cases, companies law and shareholder disputes, contract law, banking, bankruptcies and liquidations, complex insolvency proceedings and more. Furthermore, Adv. Buch has experience in working on international cases in cooperation with leading foreign law firms. By education he has and LL.B. and a B.A., Business Administration and an LL.M. from Tel Aviv University.
Adv. Mirit Shalev, Partner - Adv. Shalev has 17 years of experience in the legal profession and she specializes in civil-commercial litigation and in administrative litigation. Among other topics, she handles diverse litigation cases including contracts law, corporate law, companies law, defamation, and class actions. By education she has an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University.
Adv. Bella Peled, Partner - Adv. Peled has 15 years of experience in the legal profession. She started her career in the profession as a military prosecutor and continued as a lawyer in the MAG Corps’ Counsel and Legislation Department. Afterwards, she worked as a lawyer in KKL’s Legal Department and later on joined Cassouto & Co. She was appointed as a partner in the firm in January 2021. By education she has an LL.B. (cum laude) from Bar Ilan University and an LL.M. from Tel Aviv University.
Adv. Shahar Capusha, Partner - Adv. Capusha has 10 years of experience in the legal profession, and he specializes in managing complex large-scale civil-commercial litigation cases, corporate law and shareholder disputes, contract law, class actions and derivative actions, and more. Furthermore, Adv. Capusha has experience in working on international cases in cooperation with leading foreign law firms. By education he holds a Bachelor’s degree in law (magna cum laude, Dean’s List) from the College of Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Haifa University. Shahar is also a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
Adv. Gal Klauzner, Partner - Adv. Gal Klauzner has 11 years of experience in legal practice, specializing in managing complex litigation cases in the commercial-civil domain on a large scale. Among other things, she handles litigation cases in various areas, including contract law, corporate law, banking law, insolvency law, and representative lawsuits. In addition to her legal expertise, Klauzner has experience working on international cases in collaboration with leading foreign law firms. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Haifa.
