Dr. Itay Lavy is a specialist in corneal diseases and transplants, advanced cataract surgeries, including laser cataract surgery, special and premium lenses, refractive surgeries, and dry eyes. He is a senior physician in the Ophthalmology Department of Hadassah Ein-Karem and Hadassah Mount Scopus hospitals.
Dr. Lavy is one of the leading surgeons in Israel in the corneal and cataract field. He performs a large number of surgeries in this area, including corneal transplants and anterior segment reconstruction. He also specializes in the treatment of symptoms and complications after surgery, as well as other complex situations.

Dr. Lavy served as president of the clinical fellows club in Rotterdam, where he specialized in corneal transplants.
Dr. Lavy has served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as a combat soldier in the paratroopers, and continues to serve as a fighter, commander, and doctor.
