Gazit G.G.B. Ltd. is a leading developer and construction company which has been active in the real estate industry for about 13 years. It specializes in initiating and building residential projects and urban renewal projects – NOP 38/1 Seismic Retrofitting and NOP 38/2 Demolition and Reconstruction. In its operations as a constructor the company provides construction services for private entrepreneur, development companies and purchasing groups and over the years it has developed and built dozens of residential projects, including in the cities of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Ramat Gan, Rehovot, Haifa, Kiryat Tivon and more.

The Human Capital

The company employs an organic team with 10 employees, each of whom possesses vast experience in the construction industry and most of whom are employed since the early years of the company. In addition, the projects are accompanied by first-class consultants, engineers and contractors. The company’s human capital constitutes one of the major factors of its reliability and high construction quality. Avia Ben El’Hanan, the company’s CEO and founder, is a Lieutenant Colonel (res.) who serves as a battalion commander in his reserves service in the Alexandroni Division. His unit received the “Excelling Unit” award from the president under his command. By education he has an LL.B. and before entering the legal profession, he decided to follow his real passion, real estate, to which he was exposed when he initiated, managed and built an educational agronomic center for youth who were ejected from formal institutions, and to join the real estate industry. In contrast to the customary trajectory in the industry, Gazit Ltd. (which he founded) started as a real estate developer and in light of Ben El’Hanan’s understanding of his responsibility to the apartment owners and the great advantage of independent execution capabilities without relying on external entities, the company became also its own construction contractor.

Selected Projects

40 Herzl, Tel Aviv: An architectural-conservation building, a NOP 38/1 project, pending population. The building has 2 residential floors and one commerce floor and is located at the heart of Tel Aviv. Since this is a conservation project, Gazit can express its unique capabilities for an attentive and luxurious execution. In the framework of the project, this special building was retrofitted and preserved, while 2.5 new floors were added.
25 Markolot St., Tel Aviv
The demolition and construction project of a building in the Florentin neighborhood. The building includes a basement, a commercial floor, and five residential floors (13 boutique apartments). Working in the Florentin neighborhood is characterized by logistical challenges and complex processes.

The execution of offices on a scale of thousands of meters with high-quality finishes, including clean rooms and workspaces for medical industries.

Self-Developed

Gazit is currently planning several urban renewal projects in the cities of Tel Aviv, Rehovot, Bat Yam, and Haifa.
Neve Ofer, Tel Aviv: Gazit is developing and executing 2 NOP 38/2 projects in the neighborhood. In each it adds 2.5 floors and several ground-level apartments. The high consideration for the existing residents includes a balcony, safety room and storage room for every apartment, an elevator, and a new spacious lobby.

Populated Projects

To date, Gazit has built dozens of projects, some of which have already been completed to the residents’ satisfaction, including projects in Tel Aviv’s Ehad Ha’Am, Borochov, Peretz Hayut, Afek, HaZohar, Avital and Sharet Streets. It also built commercial centers in Kiryat Tivon, Haifa, etc.
