Practice Areas

Energy and Infrastructure - The firm is one of Israel’s pioneering and leading energy practices. The firm represents 70% of Israel’s private power producers and the Private Power Producers Forum. The firm has comprehensive knowledge and unique experience in the field’s commercial and regulatory aspects, and its attorneys take a significant part in the formulation of the regulatory framework and reforms. The firm advises leading entities and facilities, including conventional and renewable private power plants, and all types of natural gas utilities, on establishment, operations, tenders and contracts. KRB’s team lead most of Israel’s key energy projects, including the first and largest private power plant, and numerous leading renewable energy projects (based on PV, wind and bio-gas). In addition, the firm has extensive experience in tenders, concessions and investments proceedings. KRB represents international companies with Israeli operations and supports many of Israel’s natural gas consumers, natural gas distributers, marketers and contractors. We also have expertise in infrastructure projects, and in particular with respect to major transportation infrastructure projects in developing countries and locally. This activity is managed by Arye Liany, who among others served as the General Counsel of several publicly traded companies.
Regulation and Competition - The team, headed by Noga Rubinstein, provides comprehensive counsel and strategic support, including in the communication, banking, food and pharmaceuticals, health, and transportation fields. The firm provides strategic advice concerning economic regulation to major groups in the Israeli economy, from diverse industries, and handles privacy protection and database issues. We counsel multinational companies operating in Israel and abroad and support Israeli companies in foreign regulatory conduct abroad.
The firm facilitates antitrust-related proceedings, advises on competition aspects and actions concerning monopolies, collusions and mergers, and represents clients before the Antitrust Authority and other governmental bodies, and in legal proceedings before the antitrust and civil courts.
The practice is highly experienced in the telecommunication sector and is proficient in its complex regulatory issues. We advise our clients, including communication, telecommunications, broadcasting and advertising companies, on setting long-term regulatory strategies, representing them in legislation and administrative proceedings, as well as public policy hearings before all government authorities, complex disputes and tenders.
We handle complex administrative disputes and represents clients before the relevant courts and tribunals, such as the administrative court and the Supreme Court, as well as national committees of inquiry, public audit committees, parliament committees and administrative hearings before various authorities.
Our White Collar practice represents senior businesspersons and public officials in criminal cases concerning matters such as securities, antitrust, tax and money laundering, defense and homeland security offences, and represents clients before governmental and military committees of inquiry, and in hearings and proceedings concerning homeland security.
Our commercial and corporate team counsel’s organizations in various fields and industries on multifaceted transactions in areas including venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate law.
Emmanuel Kadouch who leads the commercial team has vast experience in representing Israeli and international companies and groups, private equity and venture capital funds, private investors and entrepreneurs.

Amit Krispin - A pioneer in the Israeli energy market, serves as the adviser of the Israeli Forum of Private Power Producers, and supports the key entities in the Israeli energy market. Amit represents companies in their interactions with the regulators, and in matters concerning planning and zoning agreements, power supply agreements, finance agreements, power purchase agreements, etc.

Noga Rubinstein - An expert in regulation advisory and representation. Noga gained experience in administrative and public law during her work as General Counsel of the Ministry of Communications, and earlier in her career, as Deputy Attorney General for Fiscal-Economic matters in the Ministry of Justice.

Roy Blecher - A leading criminal and white-collar attorney, and one of the defense team leaders of former prime minister Mr. Ehud Olmert. Roy advises on some of Israel’s most complex tort and medical malpractice claims and is an expert in cases that combine multiple victims. Roy advises government companies and defense companies in the formulation of compliance programs aimed at the prevention of foreign officials’ bribery and represents them in complex civil and administrative litigation proceedings, that involve sensitive homeland security aspects. Roy served as a senior consultant officer and as a Military Advocate at the Military Advocate General corps.

Emmanuel Kadouch - With over twenty years of experience in a wide range of corporate issues including mergers and acquisition and private equity as well as complex commercial transactions, Emmanuel regularly represents Israeli and international investors. Emmanuel advises foreign companies and organizations of all sizes doing business in Israel in various fields and industries. He advises startups from their inception as well as multibillion dollar groups and companies doing business in Israel. He is also regarded as one of Israel’s leading venture debt lawyers and represents the most active venture debt fund in the Israeli tech sector.

Andrey Nickel - Specializes in competition law and regulation. He advises clients on all aspects of competition law and represents them vis-à-vis the authorities and tribunals. Andrey is also an expert on the Centralization Law as well as the Promotion of Competition Law in the Food Industry. Andrey is a former head of the competition authority’s legal team.

Arye Liany - Specializes in real estate and infrastructure projects in developing countries. Arye has extensive experience in advising on complex, large-scale real estate transactions in Israel and abroad. He gained his expertise while working as General Counsel of Aviv & Co., Ocif Investments and Development, and Ogen Income-Producing Real Estate. Arye served as General Counsel of the Tahal Group and as General Counsel of Baran International.
