Mateen (formerly Mohammed Abu Zaid, named after the owner and founder) is an established family-owned company that provides innovative and advanced aluminum solutions for clients in the commercial and construction sectors, including contractors and manufacturers from Israel and abroad, architects and designers. With its solutions and services, the company offers customers a comprehensive package for windows, doors, blinds, metal fixtures, profile punching, and more. The company was founded by Mohammed Abu Zaid in 1977, a member of a family of wood and aluminum craftsmen.

The company is currently importing aluminum and producing aluminum products, as well as providing aluminum-based technological solutions - such as building cladding, pergolas, and more - for both private construction and saturated construction. The meaning of the word Mateen in Arabic is firmness and strength, and in this context, the term has a dual meaning for the company: both as a representation of the firmness and strength of the Abu Zaid family and as a symbol of the incredible durability of aluminum, the company’s core product.

Mateen’s activity is organized into five departments that collaborate in synergy to meet the needs of the company’s customers nationwide:
MF Department - Marketing profiles without primer processing (pure), which are suitable for all types of colors and comply with the strictest standards. The profiles produced in Mateen undergo strict quality control and meet the Israeli standard for the production of aluminum profiles TI 4402, as well as the European standard.
Scroll Shutters Department - Manufacturing and sales of all types of aluminum scroll shutters, including casings and the operational system as a whole, according to clients’ specifications – sizes, colors etc.
Finished Profiles Department - Sale of painted profiles.
Metal Fixtures Department - Sales of an entire range of accessories for doors, screen walls, and aluminum windows manufactured by the world’s best manufacturers.
Research and Development Department - Design services for specific needs and special requests, as well as tracking new and advanced solutions in Israel and worldwide.

CNC machining

There are many uses for aluminum, which is a soft metal that is very convenient for CNC processing and design. Combined with laser cutting technologies, these features not only shorten production times but also improve the quality of the finished product significantly. Mateen offers aluminum profile machining solutions for any application.

Taking Care of the Environment

As a company whose factory is located in Barlev Industrial Park in Upper Galilee, a particularly green and pastoral area, Mateen places a high value on environmental protection. This aspect corresponds perfectly with aluminum metal, whose various uses, such as in insulated windows and doors, reduce energy consumption and help maintain heat/cold in the building and in the room. The most important component in this context is hermetically sealed aluminum profiles, and Mateen offers its customers advanced aluminum profiles with a thermal junction, which contains sealing lines made of insulating material threaded between two aluminum profiles.
The thermal junction prevents the transfer of temperature in the aluminum and thus conserves energy. Additionally, aluminum is an environmentally friendly material with various uses that is very suitable for recycling. Compared to its production, aluminum recycling requires only 5% of the energy. Therefore, it is no surprise that recycling has become a preferred method of manufacturing this metal. As a result, aluminum recycling is extremely simple and contributes significantly to the environment. Mateen is proud to be a part of this eco-friendly industry.
