The story of NEWAY begins in 2003, when Asaf Gat, Itay Gat, and Erez Shushtri decided to venture into an unchartered territory and face one of the greatest challenges of modern society – road safety. Over time, the company expanded into a variety of new areas and established its position as an industry leader, through exclusive cooperations with leading manufacturers across the world and developing diverse capabilities, with an uncompromising commitment to quality, safety, innovation, and service. The company’s products and services meet the strictest standards and are approved according to the requirements of the Israel Road Company standard, the interministerial committee, EU standards, and IIS standards. In 2021, these successes led NEWAY to join forces with Milgam Ltd., marking a transition to a new era in its history, while maintaining the values and vision which have been guiding it from the very beginning. Transportation

Traffic Arrangements – Neway specializes in planning, approving and executing temporary and permanent traffic arrangements including:
• Manufacturing, supplying, and installing portable and fixed safety barriers including concrete products such as: barriers, curbstones, etc.
• Manufacturing traffic signs and milestones, interior and exterior signs, municipal signs, directional signs, etc.
• Painting and marking roads and parking lots.
• Importing, marketing and supplying a wide variety of road safety accessories, including reflectors, fences, barriers, speed bumps, parking barriers, cones, etc.
Neway holds a 200 C3 classification and is authorized for governmental projects.
Safety Barriers – Neway develops and manufactures a wide variety of fixed and portable safety barriers solutions, of all containment levels. All our safety barriers successfully passed strict crash tests according to European standard EN 1317 and were approved by the Ministry of Transportation.
NEWAY is also the exclusive franchisee of world-leading safety barriers manufacturers, including Rebloc®, Givasa, and more, and it manufactures and supplies complementary concrete products such as curbstones, lamppost base blocks, defensive walls and more.
Signs and Signages – Neway owns a sign factory that plans, designs, manufactures, supplies and installs interior and exterior signs, and is recognized as an approved manufacturer of IROADS company and a primary supplier of the Ministry of Defense. The company specializes in manufacturing signs and signals for traffic direction, street signs, signs for public and dog parks, heritage sites, memorials, decorative exterior signs, interior office signs and more. The factory employs skilled teams, is equipped with cutting-edge equipment, and is ISO-certified to print in a variety of techniques on various surfaces.
Road and Parking Painting and Marking – Provides solutions to the public and private sectors with attention to professional, accurate and fast execution. Neway specializes in temporary painting and marking of construction sites from planning to execution, and permanent painting of roads, parking areas and pavements, with cutting-edge equipment, skilled professionals, and high-quality materials that meet IIS standards. The company also offers paint removal and erasing services through a unique technology.
Safety Accessories – Importing and marketing a wide range of safety accessories for municipal and intercity spaces, such as: road signs and traffic barriers, fences, warning surfaces for the visually impaired, warning ribbons and sleeves to increase the visibility of posts, speed bumps, parking barriers, panoramic mirrors, etc.
Development and Maintenance – NEWAY provides comprehensive solutions to municipalities and public institutions, including underground works, sewage, drainage, electricity, digging, substrate, cables and asphalt, with a commitment to maximal efficiency, accessibility, and safety. It also offers ongoing maintenance services for roads and pavements and landscaping, identifying and handling severe weather hazards, renewing road markings, cleaning and maintenance of signs, waste cleaning, pipe repairs, pothole filling, corrective and preventive maintenance.
Traffic Inspectors – NEWAY has an organization of about 1,000 certified traffic inspectors across Israel, who provide services to municipalities, contractors, governmental companies and construction sites. The company’s traffic inspectors have longstanding experience, professional training from the Road Signage Authority and a work certificate from the head of the traffic division of the Israeli Police and they work with a variety of municipal and intercity signage authorities in temporary and long-term traffic arrangements.
Highway Patrol – The group operates an organization of highway patrollers across Israel, responsible for providing initial assistance to drivers whose vehicles got stranded for any reason. These teams also remove traffic obstacles and assist control rooms in monitoring the roads.

Electricity and Lighting

NEWAY lights the way to a safer and greener future, and its projects include installation of advanced electricity infrastructures, upgrading existing lighting systems and implementing innovative solutions that care for the environment and the customers’ needs. The division specializes in four main segments – interior lighting, exterior lighting, electrical and communication infrastructure contractual works and importing and marketing lighting and electricity devices from leading international manufacturers. The company has 160 A5, 240 A1 and 270 A3 contractor classifications.

Marketing and Supply

NEWAY provides a wide range of products to municipalities, government and institutional entities, IDF, Ministry of Defense, and the Police in the fields of construction, concrete, plumbing, Judaica, exterior furniture, electrical devices, and power tools.

Pipelines

Meiri Technologies, a NEWAY’s subsidiary, provides groundbreaking solutions in the fields of pipeline rehabilitation, renewal, maintenance, and repairs to water corporations, local authorities, government companies and factories. The company operates the latest technologies, including advanced robots for repairing pipe damage and a super combi high-pressure sewage cleaning system.

Prominent Projects

Traffic Arrangements
• Executing traffic arrangements for the light rail Green Line and ongoing maintenance for the Red Line.
• Adding a public transport lane in Road 5.
• Executing traffic arrangements in the framework of the expansion of Road 90 and installing safety barriers.
Signs and Signages
• Manufacturing, supplying and installing interior signs in Ward Building C of Kaplan Hospital.
• Manufacturing, supplying and installing designed interior signs via CNC technology for the Yahud Regional Council.
Development and Maintenance Works
• Development of the “Family Park” in Rosh HaAyin, including a jet fountain, electricity works, earthworks, drainage, trails and playgrounds.
Highway Patrol
• NEWAY operates the highway patrol of Road 431 for “Netivei HaYovel” Ltd.
Electricity and Lighting
• Upgrading to LED lighting across the IDF’s training camps city.
• Upgrading to LED lighting including a complete control system, street lighting and decorative streetlights, sport arenas and halls, Mazkeret Batya.
• Supplying and installing decorative LED lighting, street and open public space lighting for bike trails, Rehovot.
Pipelines
• An 800mm sewage collection sleeve in Gissin neighborhood, Petach Tikva.
• Bursting and expanding an original 400mm sewage line into a new 600mm line in Petach Tikva.
