Therefore, the company operates service vehicles, so that vehicles in distress that need initial assistance can contact by telephone the National Traffic Management Center at 2120 * and receive free assistance to reduce roadside hazards, thus significantly improving road safety. Additionally, Netivei Israel prepares for extreme weather events throughout the year.
The company operates according to a multi-year plan, “connecting Israel”, aimed at promoting transportation infrastructures, such as the planning and implementation of public transportation terminals and stations, railways such as Karmiel-Kiryat Shmona, rail to Eilat, rail 5 and 6 in Ayalon, and a light rail in Beer Sheva. The company is also involved in the planning of a complementary airport for Israel, heliports, and the construction of several park and drive parking lots as well as fast charging stations for electric vehicles on interstate highways.

The nickname “Israel’s Engineer” was given first to the mythical MAAZ Company and passed on to ‘Netivei Israel’ as it became the leading company in the initiation, development, and maintenance of Israel’s road network. Netivei Israel is setting the standards in the areas of infrastructure, transportation, roads, railways, and the field of aviation that complements Israel. Most of the company’s purchases are “blue and white”, therefore, it is also one of the primary growth engines in the Israeli economy.

1. Transportation - Increasing accessibility to localities at the national level, to metropolitan centers, and regional hubs alongside providing service on the road network under the company’s responsibility and improving flow as part of traffic management. The company also works vigorously to develop advanced infrastructures for public transportation, such as a railway infrastructure network, public transportation routes, and cable car in Jerusalem.
2. Society - Connecting the periphery to the country’s metropolitan providing greater access to employment, regardless of where you live, through the construction of a network of light and heavy trains and by creating additional options for mass transportation anywhere in the country.
3. Economy - Creating good access roads to the regional employment areas, improving the infrastructure for the transfer of goods and cargo, and reducing congestion in the transportation arteries.
4. Environment - Streamlining investment in transportation, moving to more sustainable transportation and reducing travel, reducing energy consumption from transportation and moving to renewable energy, researching materials for the construction of green infrastructures, reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transportation infrastructures along with preserving, improving and increasing the biodiversity near transportation infrastructures, also through the creation of ecological corridors.

Netivei Israel invests many resources in (a) technological innovation in the worlds of engineering, monitoring, and quality assurance; (b) an adaptive traffic management system of the road network to improve the traffic flow, and in a framework of information and cyber-security of the traffic management systems. The company promotes energy efficiency by replacing all the lighting fixtures on the roads under its responsibility for smart and ecological lighting.
