Newtown deals with the initiation and construction of residential projects. Newtown group started its business activity in 2013 has developed and initiated a variety of residential urban renewal projects in demand cities in Israel such as Hod Hasharon, Netanya, Ramat Gan and Holon with revenues of approximately 750 million NIS. The group was founded and is personally managed by CPA Moshe Ritblat, who together with engineer Echay Ruhrman and Nir Mesterman, are a team of highly qualified professionals with experience and proven ability in successfully initiating, constructing and managing complex projects in Israel and around the world.
Newtown specializes in urban renewal (demolition and rebuilding) and provides its customers with the very best level of service based on a high-quality and advanced customized residential concept.
Newtown chooses to initiate only projects that can be implemented quickly in full cooperation with the customers and the planning and licensing authorities, ensuring that schedules and planning and construction requirements are met.

In order to succeed in doing this in an optimal way, the customers receive a personal assistance while identifying their needs and formulating solutions for them, from the project initiation phase to handing over the key to their new apartment.
Newtown carefully selects only projects that have planning feasibility and financial viability, and those that allow it to achieve exceptional results for its customers. The one who stands at the forefront of action and mobilizes his extensive experience and his ability to understand the small details and the big picture is the group’s CEO Moshe Ritblat, who builds a relationship of trust and transparency with the customers in a way that is considered unusual in the world of urban renewal.
This process is reflected not only in the substantial benefits that the customers receive, but also and especially in providing creative solutions, among others for the elderly and those with special needs who receive personalized, genuine and accessible solutions to their needs, including financial and logistical assistance.
Newtown’s unique model allows it to obtain the consent of 100% of the landowners in the projects it initiates quickly with the full cooperation with them.
Company Management
Moshe Ritblat, Co-owner and CEO
The person who is considered one of the most prominent urban renewal developers in Israel is the real estate entrepreneur Moshe Ritblat. Mr. Ritblat is a certified public accountant by training who previously served as a partner in a successful accounting firm. Later he graduated with a master’s degree in business administration (with honors) at New York University, returned to Israel and became the CEO of a construction company that has built over 1,000 apartments across Israel. After that, Mr. Ritblat turned to the initiation of residential, office and hotel projects throughout Europe, among others, for Lehman Brothers, which was one of the largest investment banks in the world.
Mr. Ritblat worked in Europe for several years, after which he decided to return to Israel and was appointed as the CEO at Green Park Ltd., which initiated and established in Tel - Aviv, a groundbreaking urban renewal project. As part of the project, ten old buildings, which populated 154 families, were demolished, and six luxury buildings with 447 new apartments were built in one phase. Moshe Ritblat is responsible for the transformation of Neve Sharet from a distressed neighborhood into a sought-after luxury neighborhood in Tel - Aviv.
After the project was recognized as a great success, Moshe decided to establish a private company that would reproduce the social model he developed in Neve Sharet - in many other projects throughout the country. Under his leadership, Newtown has recorded a meteoric growth in its activity in recent years.
Eng. Echay Ruhrman, Co-owner
Echay is a civil engineer and owner of Ruhrman Engineering, which was established in 2008. He graduated from the Technion and has over twenty years of experience in the construction industry. Ruhrman Engineering employs experienced engineers and project managers who, over the years, have managed dozens of projects in Israel and abroad, on a large scale. Echay’s comprehensive knowledge and experience allow Newtown to plan projects in a holistic way, in order to avoid the need to adjust the planning during execution and achieve a quality result at the end. Newtown manages all the planning, licensing and implementation phases of the projects it initiates in order to achieve the best result for its clients.
Nir Mesterman, Co-owner
Nir has over 25 years of experience in initiating and managing real estate investments in Israel and around the world. Nir is one of the founders of Newtown and of real estate, hotel and Hi-Tech companies with operations in the USA, Europe and Israel.
Nir has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hertfordshire in England.

TRU Hod Hasharon - 35 apartments. The project was completed.
Bnei HaNeviim, Ramat Gan - 36 apartments, permit was approved subject to conditions.
Neot Shaked, Netanya - A valid plan for the construction of a mixed-use project of a 30-story tower with 132 apartments, commercial and public areas.
Alufei Zahal, Holon - Initiation of an urban renewal project of over 210 apartments.
Ben Gurion Road, Ramat Gan - An urban renewal project (in collaboration with Doral Real Estate) featuring a mixed-use project of more than 70 apartments, commerce and public areas in one of the most sought-after locations in Ramat Gan.
