Company Services
Ocean Freight – is a part of the extensive service portfolio that Orian provides its customers. Each year, about 40,000 shipments are imported & exported. Orian has annual service contracts with the world’s leading shipping companies Preferred Carrier. The company handles import shipments further from the receipt of the supply chain management purchase order, and the ability to track shipments online. It also offers Door to Door services worldwide. Orian was approved by the Customs Administration as a customs agent and international forwarder in the “Approved Economic Entity-A.E.O.” program.
Handling of Bulk and Forage Cargo – Orian shipping agent specializes in handling bulk cargo with a skilled team in the field for 30 years. The team has 50 employees at Haifa and Ashdod ports, who work in shifts at the time of the ship’s release. Orian uses Orient Mobile - a mobile app that offers cutting-edge tech solutions, is on the dock and performs all office work from the field, shortens customs clearing times, and lowers costs.
Air Freight – Each year, Orian is responsible for about 95,000 air freight import and export shipments.
Orian’s air freight services offer several options including: a constant presence in building up air cargo pallets at the terminals, drawing up price agreements and allocating place at the leading airlines, consulting, packaging, and shipping of hazardous and perishable materials, handling of Carnet shipments, credit letters, etc.
Customs Brokerage – Thanks to its years of work with customs and various Israeli authorities, alongside its extensive experience, Orian provides customs clearance solutions, with various authorities (Ministry of Economy, Israel Standards Institute, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transport, etc.). Orian is highly experienced in providing customs brokerage services to customers from a variety of fields: Electronics, food, automotive, textiles and fashion, industry, etc., and handles about 120,000 import files a year.
Drop Shipment – Orian hold a separate department that specializes in drop shipments, essentially third-party shipments that don’t run through Israel. DB Schenker’s global reach and its online platforms provide the basis for this service, which enables Orian to provide the most reliable and professional care.
Logistics – Orian logistics services offers storage sites with about 140,000 sq.m.s of floor space, providing a wide range of advanced logistics solutions. The storage centers allow advanced and fast technology to benefit the entire supply chain. The company has 7 logistics centers throughout Israel, including logistic center in Kiryat-Ata (Unilever), which covers an aera of 5,500 sq.m., with automatic frozen warehouse services; Lev Haaretz 2 (in Lev Haaretz industrial zone) covers an area of 20,000 sq.m., providing automatic pick and storage services - Mini Load; and Kiryat Malachi’s logistics center which covers 40,000 sq.m. and includes the Autostore systems, which operates 30 robots, each one is its own unit with quick collection output. Benefits of the Logistic Centers: a location that allows easy and quick access to all major transport routes, inventory management by advanced systems that allow instant access to information and tracking of inventory and operations, pick by voice, advanced systems for maintaining security and inventory accuracy, advanced control and security systems, integration to the Orian distribution system, online customer care, etc.
Distribution and Transportation – The Distribution and Transportation Department currently provides solutions to a wide range of customers shipping goods across the country for a vast variety of business customers (B2B) and private consumers (B2C). The department provides arrival and distribution throughout the country in a Next Day service, providing personalized, timely and professional service and customized customer service using advanced technological skills. The company has 6 branches that serve as Hubs and are deployed from the north of the country to Eilat. Every year, Orian distributes over 5 million packages and hundreds of thousands of pallets. The main sorting center is in Kiryat Orian (Modi’in), where there is an advanced automated sorter with capacity of 6,000 parcels per hour.
International E-commerce - aramex – The innovation process that Orian provides emphasizes the world of E-commerce and the growing B2C audience in the local market. Special Projects
Orian maintain a Project Cargoes department - specialized in containerized Out of Gage (OOG) shipments to complex projects. Those import/export shipments require a different expertise and experience, special care from the budget stage to shipping and up to the site delivery – with hands on project for each cargo shipment until it is fully uploaded at the site or elsewhere, where a power station is being built.
