The firm is headed by the owner and founder, attorney Shy Kedmi, who set a goal of trying to bring any dispute to a compromise that benefits all parties while preserving their dignity and that of their families, with whom their relationship will continue long after the legal dispute has been resolved. Attorney and Notary Shy Kedmi, Founder and Owner

Attorney Shy Kedmi has been qualified by the Bar Association since 2010. Before establishing his private law office in 2012, he worked as an associate attorney in an established Family Law firm. Consequently, he was involved in the management and supervision of legal proceedings related to Family Law, representation in cases conducted in the family courts and rabbinical courts nationwide, and drafting judicial papers.

He completed his specialization and preliminary training in the same law office, and within this framework, he was involved in the management and supervision of litigation cases, drafting pleadings, submitting various requests and legal documents in courts and rabbinical courts, participating in negotiations, mediation, and settlement procedures, and preparing legal opinions as part of the ongoing handling of cases and in preparation to appear in court.
As an advocate, Kedmi is qualified to draw up a Durable Power of Attorney encompassing three areas - Property, Medical, and Personal. He is also graduated mediation course on behalf of the Haifa District Board of the Israel Bar Association, a graduate of a family mediation course on behalf of the National Institute for Mediation and the Israeli Bar Association, and a graduate of a directors course on behalf of the Bar Ilan university.

Attorney Shy Kedmi graduated with a Law bachelor’s degree from Tel Aviv University in 2010 and was certified as a notary in 2021.

Pursuing a Professional Mission

Attorney Kedmi decided to specialize in Family and Inheritance Law after meeting a group of women from Bat Yam who were victims of violence, as part of his Law studies at Tel Aviv University. Their stories revolving around matters of alimony and custody struck a chord with him, and he immediately decided to obtain certification in the field of Family and Inheritance Law so that he could work and help people in need.

Parental rights - The firm represented a mother in a precedent claim against a person who wished to obtain parental rights despite not being the biological father of a minor or the mother’s spouse.

A foreign caregiver tried to inherit her elderly patient- Representation in a high-profile case of heirs against the foreign caregiver of a late family member. According to the heirs, the foreign caregiver hid the death of the deceased, and in retrospect, it was discovered that she had abused the deceased and had invented a will that eliminated the entire family and ignored their existence.

Nova party survivor - The firm represents pro bono a Nova party survivor against his ex-wife’s claim to transfer their children to her custody (today, the children are in the father’s custody) because she claims he is in a disturbed state of mind due to the trauma he went through.

A foreign caregiver invaded an apartment - Representation in a case in which two brothers inherited their deceased mother’s apartment, only to discovered to their surprise that the foreign caregiver invaded it about a decade ago and claims to hold the deceased’s will (a demented individual), which leaves her the property.
