What recent key move did you lead?
Our firm's litigation department, which I spearhead, represents the (ret.) Judge of the Be'er Sheva District Court Dan Cohen in one of the most complex and publicized civil litigation cases that are being managed in Israel today. Over the past few months, we reached a very complex settlement in this case, which concluded about six years of legal proceedings.
What are the firm’s strongest attributes?
The personal and professional touch of every partner of the firm in every legal case and every client it handles. Maintaining the personal attention to the clients and the fact that the firm's human capital is grown in-house and preserves the firm's values of excellence and professionalism.
Which of the firm’s recent key moves will lead to it becoming stronger over the next few years?
Our firm continues with the trend of promoting young and promising partners who started their career in our firm as interned, thus nurturing the firm's future generation, this in combination with the professional experience and extensive knowledge of the older and experienced generation, and simultaneously with expanding the legal team without budging an inch on its level, all together providing the clients with a complete, professional and broad legal umbrella.
What are the main challenges facing the firm in the next few years?
Undoubtedly, in the competitive legal services market of our era, where many clients seek "large" firms which are "brand-names", there is a real challenge in continuing to serve and take in clients who prefer an experienced and professional firm of the highest level, where the legal service is also personal, with the full involvement of senior and experienced partners.
What would you recommend an up and coming executive?
Listen and be attentive to others, always and every situation have your hand on the pulse of the system that you are responsible for.
What should one remember during hardships?
First and foremost, and with all the respect to the changes in the market, as a seasoned lawyer I can testify that a professional and refined legal response and accessible and immediate service are, at the end of the day, the most important and valuable pillar for the clients, which can often determine a business' success or failure.
Being professional and loyal to your clients, even during hardships, would prove itself over time.
