For example, a negligent delivery procedure at a medical institution led to fetal distress, a significantly lower Apgar score, and the death of a newborn after multiple attempts of resuscitation.
In this case, one of the main issues was determining where a premature delivery might have been able to prevent severe fetal distress based on the monitor chart. NIS 1,900,000 was the amount of compensation the firm was able to negotiate after persistent negotiations.
In another case, a medical institution failed to diagnose a spina bifida-type birth defect due to negligent pregnancy monitoring. A settlement of NIS 2,800,000 was reached at the end of the case.

Adv. and Notary Amit Straichman - Adv. Straichman holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) and a bachelor’s degree in business administration (B.A) from Reichman University and is a graduate of the “Lahav” program, Faculty of Management at Tel Aviv University.
Adv. Straichman serves as Deputy Chairman in the Southern District of the Bar Association. He also operates as a certified mediator for the Registrar of Mediators. Attorney Straichman specializes in representing and advising clients in the field of torts, national insurance and real estate, including providing consulting services in sales and taxation transactions. At “Psagot” College, he taught courses on brokers’ exam preparation and was highly regarded by the students.
Adv. Liran Gelfand - Attorney Gelfand holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. with distinction) from the Academic Center for Law and Business, holds a degree in software engineering, and is a graduate of a specialized professional training program in the fields of tort law and medicine administered by the Bar Association and the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
