AR Ofek Lighting Infrastructure Ltd. was founded in 2005 by Effi Akiva, its owner and CEO. Initially, the company was active only in the construction of lighting infrastructures, and over the years it has expanded its areas of operations also into the construction f communication and control and electricity infrastructures in various public projects. AR Ofek specializes in building infrastructures for transportation networks, including roads, railway stations, tunnels, traffic light systems etc., and nowadays it is considered to be one of Israel’s largest players in these fields. The company has a contractor classification of “Unlimited” in Electricity and Communication, it may participate in government tenders and it is certified and complies with the requirements of the quality management system ISO 9001:2015. Furthermore, the company operates an internal QA system in order to verify and supervise hermetically that every system that it installs meets the highest standards. Over the past few years, AR Ofek has executed several large-scale projects such as NTA Light Rail, Road 2, Road 5, Road 4, Road 1, Volovelsky Tunnel Tel Aviv, City Tunnel Givatayim, and additional diverse projects. Inter alia, the company specializes in executing planning and execution works, building and installing road lighting systems, building electrical rooms, laying high and low voltage power lines, rail communication, executing infrastructures works for all of the communication companies and more.
