The Firm’s Areas of Expertise
Intergenerational transfer - The firm provides services related to intergenerational estate planning, including lifetime transfers, gifts, drafting complex wills, integrating probate trust mechanisms, establishing and managing trusts, and planning legal structures for transferring family assets over generations. The partners’ special expertise in inheritance law, together with cooperation with consultants in various countries, enables comprehensive advice in cross border matters.. Advice is provided, as needed, with local professionals in each territory to adapt effective planning to the applicable laws throughout clients’ lives and/or after death. The consultation also covers sensitive family dynamics, cross-border coordination, practical implementation, and ongoing communication with clients and their advisers, so that the plan remains coherent, enforceable and adapted to the client’s assets, residence, family needs and long-term objectives.
Wills and Inheritances - The firm accompanies clients at all stages of estate planning: drafting wills and adapting them to the legal and asset structure, planning solutions for complex family situations, integrating trust mechanisms into wills, and accompanying probate and inheritance proceedings.
Establishment, planning and accompaniment of trusts - Establishing and managing a trust, whether during life or by will, may provide a solution for intergenerational transfer, property division and inheritance management. In view of the firm’s experience and expertise, we advise clients on setting up trusts in accordance with family, business and tax needs. This includes trusts for children from several relationships, family members with special needs, and use of trusts as complementary or alternative tools to traditional inheritance mechanisms, depending on circumstances.
Estate management – The firm has extensive experience in managing and handling estates, especially where foreign residents died while owning property in Israel, transferring funds from estates in Israel and abroad, and related matters. Advice includes probate/inheritance applications, and estate management.
Enduring Power of Attorney – Advising on and drafting enduring powers of attorney in accordance with the Legal Capacity and Guardianship Law, adapted to personal and family needs, including cases with international affinity.

Adv. and Notary Alan Aronson
Adv. and Notary Alan Aronson represents private clients and has many years of international experience and broad expertise in trust law, including establishment and management, inheritance and intergenerational transfer, estate management and international private banking. He also provides notary services. Alan graduated with an LL.B. from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and practiced as a lawyer at a Johannesburg law firm. Upon immigrating to Israel, he interned at Yaakov Weinroth & Co. and later worked as an associate at Dr. Alon Kaplan’s law firm, a leading international firm in trusts in Israel and worldwide. Alan is a member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and lectures to the legal community in Israel and abroad.
Adv. Orna Ronkin-Noor
Adv. Orna Ronkin-Noor has expertise in advising high-net-worth families and private clients, Israeli and non-residents. Orna provides comprehensive legal advice in real estate law, labor law, drafting agreements, handling reports to authorities and transactions in real estate tax trusts. She drafts and supervises execution of wills and enduring powers of attorney, and advises on aspects involved in the establishment and management of trusts in Israel. In addition, Orna advises international corporations in corporate and labor law in Israel. Orna holds a B.A. in Art History from Tel Aviv University and an LL.B. from Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya). Orna began her legal career in 1998 at Dr. Alon Kaplan’s law firm as an intern and later as an attorney upon admission to the Israel Bar Association. She is also a member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Adv. Lyat Eyal
Adv. Lyat Eyal has legal expertise in planning intergenerational transfers, especially in cross border matters, establishment and management of trusts, taxation of trusts, and counselling foreign residents who own property in Israel. Lyat has been trained and certified to advise on and supervise signing enduring powers of attorney. She also accompanies estate management in Israel for Israeli residents and non-residents who own assets in Israel, counsels on taxation of foreign trusts, and advises on pre-immigration planning for new immigrants and returning residents. Lyat advises private clients and consultants, including accountants and family offices. Lyat graduated with an LL.B. from Oxford Brookes University. She began her professional career at Faust Rabbach & Oppenhiem LLP in New York, later returned to Israel and joined Dr. Alon Kaplan’s team. Lyat is a member of the Trusts and Estates Committee and the International Committee of the New York Bar Association and is also a member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Lyat was selected by professional colleagues since 2022 for the Global Elite Directory, a list of top lawyers advising high-net-worth individuals. Lyat is a member of the International Academy of Estate and Trusts Law and of ACTEC, The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, international professional organizations with high admission requirements.
