Nurit Cohen - Katzav - a graduate of Bar Ilan University and lawyer since 2004, specializes in accompanying and representing apartment owners in various large-scale urban renewal projects, and has vast experience in accompanying complex real estate transactions, mix use projects, real estate taxation, project finance, purchasing groups, option transactions, combination transactions and more. She provided legal counsel to numerous local authorities and urban renewal administrations, including the preparation of legal opinions, drafting pre-rezoning agreements and development agreements, and she also appears frequently before the local and district planning committee and also in the National Commission for Planning Preferred Residential Complexes (VATMAL). Adv. Cohen-Katzav was one of the founders of the urban renewal administration “Ezra and Bitzron” in Tel Aviv, and participated in the establishments of urban renewal administrations in the cities of Lod, Ramla, Beit Shemesh and more. In light of her longstanding experience, she is one of the lecturers of the Real Estate School of the Ono Academic College, served as the academic coordinator of a workshop on Tama 38 in the Hebrew University, and still coordinates and lectures frequently in various frameworks, such as trainings and seminars of the Israel Bar Association, the Local Government Federation, the Israeli Construction Center, and urban renewal administrations across Israel.
