About Dana Daraznin, Attorney and Mediator
Resolving Disputes. Protecting What Matters.
After more than three decades of practicing law, I have learned that family, business, and personal crises can often be resolved more effectively through agreement than through legal warfare. In many cases, it is possible to protect legal rights while preserving important relationships, reducing the financial and emotional costs of conflict, and creating a foundation that enables people to move forward with confidence.
My name is Dana Daraznin, and I am an attorney, mediator, and lecturer who has devoted many years to resolving disputes through agreement and helping individuals and families prevent disagreements from escalating into conflicts. I serve as Co-Chair of the Israeli Collaborative Divorce Organization and am among the pioneers of Collaborative Divorce in Israel. In 2025 and 2026, I was also ranked among Israel’s leading family mediators. Throughout my career, I have advised and represented individuals, couples, families, and business owners facing complex legal and personal decisions. My objective is always the same: to find the solution that is right for the client — not only from a legal perspective, but also from a personal, financial, and broader family perspective.
Experience That Enables Me to See the Full Picture
My approach to consensual dispute resolution is grounded in many years of litigation and courtroom experience.
Precisely because I know the legal process firsthand — its advantages, limitations, costs, and risks — I am able to assess when litigation is necessary and when negotiation, mediation, or another consensual process is more likely to achieve a better outcome.
My goal is not simply to reach an agreement, but to help clients achieve agreements that will continue to serve them for years after they are signed.
This requires looking beyond the immediate legal question. I consider the financial, family, and personal implications of each decision, the interests and needs of the other party, and the impact that decisions made today may have on the future.
My Approach
I believe that effective legal counsel requires a combination of professional expertise and experience, attentive listening, strategic thinking, assertiveness, and a realistic assessment of opportunities and risks.
My clients receive a clear and comprehensive assessment of their situation, even when the circumstances are complex and even when the answers are not necessarily the ones they hoped to hear.
People turn to me when they want to protect themselves, their families, their businesses, and their future — while seeking, whenever possible, to avoid the substantial financial, emotional, and family costs associated with prolonged conflict.
Areas of Practice
Family Law and Divorce — Resolving family and divorce disputes through mediation and Collaborative Divorce, as well as providing representation and strategic guidance in negotiations and mediation proceedings. I also draft prenuptial and marital agreements, parenting agreements, and cohabitation agreements.
Wills, Estates, and Intergenerational Planning — Drafting wills, handling applications for inheritance and probate orders, advising on intergenerational transfers, and assisting families in resolving inheritance and estate disputes through consensual processes.
Enduring Powers of Attorney and Guardianship — Future legal planning, drafting enduring powers of attorney, and providing legal guidance in guardianship proceedings, with particular emphasis on preventing and minimizing family disputes.
Civil and Commercial Dispute Resolution — Mediation, arbitration, negotiation, and strategic legal guidance in civil and commercial disputes, including disputes between business partners, shareholders, property owners, and companies in Israel and abroad.
Comprehensive Support in Complex Matters — Some situations cannot be properly addressed from a narrow legal perspective alone. Family, business, property, tax, and financial issues are often deeply interconnected. In such cases, I provide clients with a comprehensive legal framework in cooperation with Dreznin & Co. — Attorneys and Notaries, a law firm specializing in civil and commercial litigation, real estate, and urban renewal.
Where appropriate, I also collaborate with professionals from other disciplines, including tax experts, actuaries, appraisers, couples therapists, and psychologists, enabling clients to address the full range of implications arising from the decisions they face.
Beyond the Law: Community Involvement
Alongside my legal practice, I am a photographer, entrepreneur, and curator of the exhibition “Seeing the Voice — Women Photographers Say No to Violence Against Women,” which has been presented at various institutions throughout Israel.
As part of this initiative, I lecture on recognizing both the visible and hidden signs of domestic violence and work to raise public awareness of this important issue.
Photography is also a significant part of my personal life and community involvement, and I volunteer my photography services for various social initiatives and projects.
What I Believe
I believe that the vast majority of disputes ultimately end in agreement, and therefore not every crisis needs to become a war. Through a professional and thoughtful process, it is possible to reach a sound agreement that protects legal rights and what truly matters, while enabling the parties to move forward with stability, confidence, and peace of mind — and avoiding years of conflict, emotional exhaustion, and substantial expense.
