About David Yadid, Law and Notary
David Yadid, Law and Notary was founded by Adv. David Yadid. Adv. Yadid has been working in the service of holocaust survivors for more than 40 years, and even initiated, in the 1980’s, the project of pensions for academics from the German national insurance. The firm specializes in receiving the entitlements of the elderly and holocaust survivors from national entities and government authorities, in Israel and abroad. The firm’s team of attorneys knows how to work and promote its clients’ best interests in foreign countries with great proficiency in the finer details of the local law, rules, and language (the firm’s team speaks 19 languages). Another main practice area of the firm is citizenship and immigration. The firm specializes in handling immigration matters and supporting its clients in their applications for Portuguese, Romanian, German, Austrian, Bulgarian, Moroccan, and Italian citizenships and applying for visas in Portugal, Spain, Cyprus, and Greece.
The firm is considered to be a pioneer in the field of issuing Portuguese citizenships for Israeli citizens, and even consulted in 2015 to the Jewish community of Lisbon on its recommendations and suggestions concerning the criteria for citizenship for the Jews expelled from Spain and Portugal, for the reliefs which were eventually incorporated into the law. Additional practice areas of the firm are torts, labor laws, and execution. A significant share of the firm’s clients comprises returning clients, who were satisfied from the comprehensive services they received from it in previous proceedings.
A Firm with a Familial DNA
While the firm employs about 40 employees, over the years it meticulously maintained an intimate and familial DNA, as expressed in the close and friendly relationships between all of the employees and in caring for their welfare, while providing support in complex personal situations. The familial and intimate atmosphere amongst the firm’s lawyers and administrators matches its attitude towards its clients, who benefit from warm service and courteous attention with a listening ear and devoted and uncompromising handling, particularly for its elderly clients and their unique needs.
