He completed his residency in General Surgery at Rabin Medical Center (Beilinson Hospital) in Israel, followed by advanced clinical training at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He subsequently completed a prestigious fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York, one of the world’s foremost institutions for cancer treatment and research. Throughout his career, Dr. Ben-Yaacov has performed thousands of complex surgical procedures, including more than 1,400 Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS) combined with Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) procedures. He is among a select group of surgeons in Israel with extensive expertise in this highly specialized treatment for peritoneal metastases.
