Dr. Yardena Mashiach

Dr. Yardena Mashiach is a gynecologist and a fertility and menopause specialist, recognized as one of the prominent and influential figures in the field of Gynecology in Israel. She has vast experience in Israel and abroad, assisting women, men and couples on their path to building a family and facing the physical and emotional challenges of menopause. From a young age, she knew that her calling was to practice gynecology, and alongside her vast professional career, she has built a family of her own – an experience that adds depth and sensitivity to her medical practice.

A Senior Physician in the Fertility and IVF Unit of the Meir Medical Center

Dr. Mashiach serves as a senior physician in the Fertility and IVF Unit of the Meir Medical Center. Alongside her public work, she manages a private clinic specializing in treating fertility problems and menopause. She is also active in the Herzliya Medical Center in the framework of the Israeli Egg Donation Program.
In the framework of her practice, Dr. Mashiach provides tailored treatments including diagnosis of fertility problems, intrauterine inseminations, in vitro fertilization, egg and sperm donations, and assistance in surrogacy journeys . All with professional service and personal attention, patience and active listening.

Treating Menopause – With an Emotional Medical Approach

Dr. Mashiach is one of the very few doctors in Israel who completed a clinical and research fellowship in female reproductive endocrinology and menopause, and is a board member of the The Israeli Menopause Society. Each one of her patients benefits from professional, sensitive and comprehensive treatment which is tailored personally for her needs.

Dr.Mashiach’s approach integrates contemporary medical knowledge, vast clinical experience and emphatic listening skills, in order to assist women navigate menopause with physical and mental balance.
She covers hormonal, physical and emotional aspects, from a deep understanding of this unique stage in woman’s live as a window of opportunity for promoting health and preventive medicine – which also addresses the medicinal element but also a holistic view of women’s health.

Education and Clinical Experience

Dr. Mashiach earned her M.D. and a master’s degree in health system management from Ben-Gurion University. She completed an obstetrics residency in the Soroka Hospital, followed by a position as a senior gynecologist in the Gynecology and Obstetrics departments of the Sheba Tel HaShomer Medical Center and afterwards in the IVF Unit of the Hillel Yafe Hospital.

When she was 37, and a mother of three, Dr. Mashiach completed a clinical and research fellowship of the University of Toronto in reproductive medicine and menopause - in the CreATe clinic in Toronto, Canada. CreATe is one of the largest fertility center in North America – with a broad exposure to cutting-edge technologies, PGT, egg and sperm and donation and surrogacy programs, gynecological surgeries, research lab, oncofertility treatments, and oocyte and embryo cryopreservation. Upon her return to Israel, she started working as a Senior Gynecologist in the Fertility and IVF Unit and Director of the Menopause Clinic of the Meir Medical Center, alongside her private gynecology clinic that offers fertility and menopause treatment, among others.

Dr. Mashiach is active in clinical research in fertility and menopause and also invests much of her time in teaching and supervising students and interns. She lectures and instructs in these fields in physicians’ seminars.
