El Gag Construction & Engineering Ltd. is a leading and outstanding construction and development company that has 20 years of professional experience. The company started as a construction execution company (contractor classification C4) and has been responsible over the years for the construction of numerous residential projects and tens of thousands of sq.m. of commerce properties such as the Better Place building, car showrooms and office buildings in Tel Aviv.
Over the years, the company expanded its operations also into real estate development, and it currently handles both development and construction with an emphasis on residential, architectural conservation, offices, commerce and industrial projects in central Israel, for clients from the private and public sectors. Over the past few years, the company has been focusing mainly on the initiation and execution of urban renewal projects – Pinui-Binui and Tama 38/2 Demolition and Reconstruction, in the regions of Tel Aviv and HaSharon.

The Company’s Structure

El Gag is a family-owned company which is headed by Avi Gabay, its founder and CEO, and his wife Leticia Glaser Gabay, who serves as COO and CSO. Avi is a civil engineer who studied in England and founded the company when he returned to Israel. He is registered in the Architects and Engineers Registrar and has more than 25 years of experience in managing and executing public and private projects. He is also a licensed contractor for construction engineering works. Alongside Avi and Leticia works a cohesive and professional team of first-class professionals, that includes, in addition to the headquarters staff, engineers and construction supervisors with longstanding experience. It should be noted that the company’s subcontractors are permanent contractors which have been working with the company for 15 and even 20 years.

Everything Under One Roof

The company carries out everything under one roof, from the initial contact with the residents, through the filing of construction plans in the planning commissions, the permits proceedings and the actual construction execution. The company also markets and sells the apartments that it built on its own and is responsible for delivering the keys to the residents. This means that the company’s customers can rest assured with the knowledge that they have a single point of contact from end to end, and that the hand that signed their contract would be the one to actually build the project and deliver the keys to the desired apartment when the time comes.

Pioneered Hod HaSharon and Bat Yam’s Pinui-Binui Field

Despite the fact that Pinui-Binui is a very complex field with relatively long permit proceedings, the company managed to be the first to build various projects under this program in Hod HaSharon and Bat Yam.
