About Galili–Dagan Law Office & Notary
Galili–Dagan Law Office & Notary, owned by Attorneys Sharon Galili and Dorit Dagan-Olkinicky , is a well-established and leading boutique law firm located in Ashdod, with approximately 25 years of experience.
Over the years, the firm has established itself as a reliable and responsible one-stop legal address, combining uncompromising professionalism at the highest standards with a human, personal, and highly accessible approach.
The firm’s team—comprised of three attorneys and an office manager—is committed to providing a comprehensive legal framework for its clients, with deep personal involvement of the partners in every case. The firm specializes in a broad range of legal fields, including defamation law, family law, criminal law, civil-commercial law, planning and zoning, and complex litigation.
The Partners: A Combination of Academic Excellence and Public Experience
Adv. Sharon Galili, Partner
Adv. Galili heads the firm and leads its legal strategy. Admitted to the Bar in 2001, he holds a B.A. in Government and Diplomacy from Reichman University (from its inaugural class under the late Prof. Ohad Sprinzak), as well as LL.B. and LL.M. degrees.
He completed his LL.B. at the University of Hertfordshire in London and his LL.M. at Reichman University, where he also developed a doctoral thesis in the field of defamation law under the supervision of former President of the Supreme Court, Prof. Aharon Barak.
Adv. Galili brings extensive public-sector experience: he has served as Chairman of several Planning and Zoning Committees, including “Galil Merkaz” and “Mitzpe Afek,” as well as those of Savyon and Be’er Ya’akov; Chairman of the Appeals Committee for Highway 6; and currently serves as Chairman of the “Moradot HaCarmel” Regional Planning and Zoning Committee.
He also previously served as a board member of Mifal HaPais and “HaIggud,” a government company operating as the executive arm of MASHAV (Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
His extensive public-sector background provides him with deep insight into the nuances of planning and zoning enforcement within local authorities, including how prosecution files are prepared and how inspection departments operate. This knowledge gives him a significant advantage as a private defense attorney in such cases.
Adv. & Notary Dorit Dagan-Olkinicky , Partner
Adv. Dagan-Olkinicky holds a law degree from Northumbria University at Newcastle (UK). She was admitted to the Bar in 1998 and heads the firm’s Family Law department, leading legal strategy in this field.
She brings unique expertise in complex cases, including those involving criminal aspects within divorce disputes. In addition, she is actively involved in public and volunteer work, including serving as legal advisor to the municipal sports authority and assisting in the management of a women’s handball team.
