What was the most significant initiative you led recently?
The most significant initiative I led recently was the founding of Gutman Hertman & Co. together with my partner, Ron Gutman. For me, this was also the fulfillment of a professional dream. I am proud that, in the short time since our founding in 2024, the firm has already established a meaningful presence in high-stakes corporate and commercial litigation and complex transactions. I am especially pleased to see that the model we envisioned – a sharp, innovative boutique firm in which the partners are personally involved in every detail – is precisely the added value our clients were seeking.

What are the firm’s strongest attributes?
Our greatest strength is our ability to truly be “inside the case.” As a litigator, I know there is no substitute for a partner who personally reviews every document and examines every piece of evidence. This hands-on approach provides a level of control, precision, and insight that large teams with multiple layers of intermediaries simply cannot match. Our model allows clients to benefit from the experience we accumulated at major firms, combined with the agility, speed, and personal attention of a high-engagement boutique practice.

Another significant advantage is that we are an AI-native firm from day one. For us, technology is not an add-on, but a genuine force multiplier that enables us to manage vast amounts of information and uncover insights that traditional methods often overlook. This combination – uncompromising legal excellence coupled with the most advanced technological tools – gives our clients a decisive advantage at their most critical decision points.

Which of the firm’s recent key moves will lead to it becoming stronger over the next few years?
AI-Native Firm Structure: Founding Gutman Hertman & Co. as an AI-native firm allowed us to bypass the inherent friction of legacy systems. Unlike firms that must retrofit new technologies into existing structures, we built all our workflows around these capabilities from day one. This has created a structural and technological advantage that will continue to deepen as these technologies evolve.

The “Special Forces” Model: We operate with a lean, high-intensity model in which partners are directly and intensively involved in every stage, without layers of intermediaries. This approach has delivered outstanding results and built deep client trust. We prioritize professional depth and the quality of representation over volume of work.

Significant Professional Momentum: Since inception, the firm has been at the forefront of some of the market's most complex and high-profile litigation matters and transactions. This trajectory has solidified our reputation as a leading player in the corporate and commercial arena, proving that our specialized model delivers results at the highest levels of the legal market.

International Expansion: We have significantly expanded our work with multinational corporations and foreign conglomerates operating within Israel’s highly regulated sectors. Our ability to bridge the gap between diverse business cultures and legal frameworks – while maintaining a global standard of excellence – solidifies our position as the preferred choice for international entities seeking sophisticated representation in Israel.

What are the main challenges facing the firm in the next few years?
• Continue refining and developing our structural advantage while steadily widening the professional gap between our model and traditional firms.

• Ensure that, even as the firm grows, we preserve its boutique character, personal service, and uncompromising professional standards that secured our leading position in record time.

What would you recommend an up and coming executive?
The ability to navigate uncertainty and step outside your comfort zone is a prerequisite for progress. Those willing to act amid uncertainty and pursue ambitious goals will discover they have far more energy and motivation to persist and succeed over the long term.

What should one remember during hardships?
At the end of the day, we manage the most critical decision points in our clients’ lives and businesses. Absolute commitment to their interests and total command of the details are the compass that must guide us through any legal storm.
