Horovitz, Even, Uzan & Co. is a law firm specializing in three core practice areas: real estate, including urban renewal and financing; commercial litigation and class actions; and commercial law and high tech, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
The firm was established in 2007 by attorneys who previously worked at Israel’s leading law firms. Since its inception, the firm has grown organically, driven by partners who are personally involved in every matter, supported by a diligent, efficient, and reliable professional team.

Comprehensive Areas of Practice

The firm comprises three core departments, which together provide a comprehensive response to clients’ needs.
The firm’s Real Estate Department, headed by Adv. Ofer Even, provides legal counsel and support across a wide range of real estate transactions, including financing and urban renewal. The department’s clients include numerous developers, contractors, and urban renewal developers and clients. From the establishment and management of urban renewal projects to the sale of residential apartments, the department offers a broad spectrum of tailored legal solutions for each transaction.
The firm’s Litigation Department, headed by Adv. Yaron Alon, represents clients in a wide range of legal proceedings before various courts. The department emphasizes professionalism, thoroughness, and efficiency. Its attorneys dedicate most of their work to property and real estate disputes, alongside corporate law matters, shareholder disputes, and oppression claims. The department is also well known for its expertise in class actions, with extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
The firm’s Commercial and M&A Department, headed by Adv. Nir Oren, handles a broad spectrum of agreements and transactions for key players in the business sector and leading financial institutions in Israel. The department is particularly renowned for its expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and high tech, both domestically and internationally.

The Team: Professional Excellence and Extensive Experience

The firm’s team consists of experienced attorneys and professionals committed to excellence and thoroughness, many of whom have accompanied the firm’s clients for years. The firm is currently led by four senior partners - Adv. Ofer Even and Adv. Gur Uzan (among the firm’s founders), Adv. Nir Oren, and Adv. Yaron Alon.
Adv. Ofer Even, one of Israel’s most senior and prominent real estate attorneys, heads the Real Estate Department. He has over three decades of experience across all aspects of real estate, including residential developments, urban renewal projects, Tama 38 projects, project financing, hotels, commercial centers and malls, and purchase groups. Adv. Even lectures at professional conferences and seminars, as well as before institutional and academic bodies, on urban renewal and strategic planning. As part of his public and voluntary activities, he serves as a director and Chairman of the Finance Committee at the Beit Berl Foundation. He previously served as a director at the Economic Company for the Development of Ramat Gan Ltd., Chairman of the Board of Arlozorov House Ltd. (the asset management company of the Labor Party), Chairman of the “Haim” Association supporting children with cancer and was among the founders of the “Israel 2020” organization. In addition, he served as a director at the Menomadin Foundation, which promotes disadvantaged communities and populations.
Adv. Gur Uzan serves as the firm’s Managing Partner and specializes in commercial law. He has extensive experience in corporate law, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, communications, tenders, labor relations, and real estate. Adv. Uzan serves as the Special Administrator of the Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims’ Assets Ltd. (in liquidation), and as a director of “Miftahim LeIsrael Ltd.” and “Icon Silicon Valley Ltd.” He founded the “Yaldut” Association and served as its CEO throughout its years of operation.
Adv. Nir Oren, Head of the Commercial Department, has many years of experience representing private and public companies in all aspects of their business activity, in Israel and abroad. His work includes mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions, founders’ and shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, tenders, financing transactions, licensing agreements, regulatory matters, public and private offerings, tender offers, merger transactions, infrastructure projects, and corporate governance advisory.
Adv. Yaron Alon, Head of the Litigation Department, has extensive experience representing clients in high-impact commercial disputes and deep expertise in corporate and real estate law. He specializes in high-profile litigation, oppression claims, corporate control disputes, shareholder conflicts, and complex real estate litigation. He is also widely recognized for representing developers and contractors over many years in disputes relevant to the construction industry, including disputes with various authorities.
Adv. Alon also has significant experience in managing class actions and is among the few attorneys who represent both plaintiffs and defendants in this field. He is a certified mediator certified by the Israel Bar Association and serves as pro bono legal counsel to the “Hamama” Association for Children’s Education.
