The firm views direct communication and mutual consent as important ways to end disputes, prior to legal proceedings, due to the personal price both parties and their children pay.
Prominent Achievements and Precedents
While managing legal proceedings, the firm won a long line of legal precedents that received the media’s attention. Recently, the firm had an outstanding achievement in a precedential and publicized judgment, where the Jerusalem Family Court disqualified a will under which a childless woman allegedly bequeathed all her property to her two brothers and nephew, not her second spouse who nursed her in her last years. The court accepted the position of the man, who was represented by our firm, that the woman wasn’t medically competent when signing the will. In another precedential judgment, the family court accepted our claim and instructed to cancel a transaction of transfer without consideration between the husband and his mother and determined that the wife, represented by our firm, is eligible to half the rights in the apartment that the husband planned to transfer to his mother. An additional precedent was in The Great Rabbinical Court, where the firm won an appeal that the wife submitted and rejected the husband’s demand to close the divorce case. The husband claimed that he doesn’t wish to divorce, but the Rabbinical Court determined that his entire purpose in this claim was to transfer the property dispute to the family courts.
