Every project undertaken by Karta is led by a winning team that includes economists, lawyers, accountants, architects, and engineers. The group’s founder is long-time real estate developer Amihai Neymann and the group’s CEO, Oren Maskalchi.

Karta Real Estate

Karta Real Estate is engaged in the purchase and improvement of residential land. There is a large inventory of land owned by the company that can be developed into hundreds of housing units in Jerusalem and other strategic locations. Group management has extensive experience implementing complex projects including conservation, evacuating protected tenants, building in crowded housing areas, and urban renewal. The group works closely with top-notch professionals.

“Atudot” “Atudot”, from Karta Group, develops thousands of housing units as part of the Pinui-Binui or Binui-Pinui transactions. Karta’s management team has extensive experience in Israel, especially in Jerusalem when it comes to urban renewal. “Atudot” is managed by Asaph Nebenzahl, a lawyer and a graduate of the Hebrew University’s School of Social Work, who is also a partner at the company.
As of 2021, Karta merged its urban renewal activities with the urban renewal projects led by developer Adv. Asaph Nebenzahl, founder of “Cramim Real Estate”. Founded in 2016, Cramim Real Estate focuses on real estate development in the urban renewal sector in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas. During 2022 the group expanded its urban renewal activities and partnered with “Farkash Group”, which specializes in planning and promoting urban renewal projects. Farkash Group holds dozens of Pinui Binui complexes in various planning and execution stages throughout Mishor Hahof. These are the first steps in a series of steps which the group is promoting, striving to expand geographically and enlarge its activities. Apartment owners are treated as full partners by Karta management, which invests a great deal of resources into creating transparent work processes. In addition to keeping tenants’ representatives informed about all updates concerning the projects, Karta provides continuous communication and responsive and efficient customer service to all apartment owners affected by the projects.

The Karta Group owns tens of thousands of square meters of neighborhood commercial space through Karta Properties. These properties are leased to quality tenants in a calculated and accurate mix, which is critical to the success of a neighborhood shopping center.

The Management Team

The group’s founder is Amihai Neymann, a real estate entrepreneur who originally worked as a consultant before expanding into land acquisition and improvement with great success. The group’s CEO is Oren Maskalchi , a former senior executive at Mizrahi - Tefahot Bank. Oren joined the group in 2021 following an organizational change. The main goal was to establish a corporate headquarters where all activities would be overseen and coordinated. Asaph Nebenzahl, leads, as aforementioned, the group’s Urban Renewal field. He brings a wide range of business development experience in urban renewal to Karta, including developing models for tenant participation and leading business processes that put the human element at the program’s center. The executive team includes Moshe Mendelevich, CFO, and Shimon Baron, who serves as VP sales and marketing and oversees Karta Investments. Shimon Baron served as VP sales and marketing of “Avnei Derech” and specialized in marketing and financing large scale real estate projects.
