A class action against the Tax Authority on grounds of not refunding excess tax payments to employees – Even though the Tax Authority had known that many employees are entitled to a tax refund, amounting to a total sum of about NIS 3.4B, it didn’t actively pursue the execution of such a refund. Following several years of a legal fight which was led by the firm, it has been agreed in a Supreme Court session that the Tax Authority would notify the employees who are entitled to a refund. This was a transformative ruling which led to the green envelopes that many employees in Israel has been receiving since 2023.

Class action against the Jewish Colonial Trust for minority oppression – representing a minority shareholder in a class action which led to a distribution to the shareholders of Bank Leumi amounting to about NIS 300 million.

Class action on the matter of Givat Amal – the firm represented residents of Givat Amal in a class action against the State and the ILA on grounds of breach of a commitment to facilitate housing for the residents of Givat Amal. Ltd., Scope Metals Ltd., New-Med Energy LP, Delek Group Ltd. and Electra Ltd.) which approved remunerations to their CEOs in contradiction with the decisions of the general assemblies (“Over-Ruling”). Despite the recent prevalence of this practice, the court wasn’t required to rule on this matter and this is a precedential action. Immediately after the request was filed, the court asked for the opinion of the Attorney General.
