About Kornowski and Co., Law Offices

Kornowski and Co., Law Offices, represents and accompanies owners in urban renewal projects, meticulously providing personal, professional and devoted attention to the clients. Since its establishment in 2011, Kornowski’s mission has been to lead the urban renewal market while representing property rights owners exclusively. The unique expertise and experience, along with the steadfast commitment to eschewing the representation of developers, in order to avoid conflicts of interest, provide our clients with complete assurance and enable us to maximize the utilization of their rights in the contracts vis-à-vis the developers. The firm represents owners of rights in about 100 projects across Gush Dan, in varying scales and at various stages of progress, from projects which are currently organized and negotiated, through projects at various planning stages and up to projects that were completed, delivered and re-registered as multi-occupancy houses. The firm’s team is distinct in its ability to provide high-quality, fast and efficient service, with personal support to each and every one of the rights’ owners, and it has the capabilities to solve a wide variety of problems, to crack complex challenges and to promote urban renewal professionally and effectively, while maintaining open and transparent communication with the clients with direct access to the lawyers.

Owners

Adv. Orita Kornowski – Founder and Owner
Adv. Kornowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Humanities of the Hebrew University, and also holds an LL.B. from the College of Management and an LL.M. from Tel Aviv University. She was admitted into the Israel Bar Association in 2010. Adv. Kornowski is one of Israel’s urban renewal pioneers and one of the first believers and proponents of this field. Since the establishment of the firm in 2010, Adv. has been practicing urban renewal exclusively, and over the years she has accumulated numerous tools that greatly contribute to the promotion of the projects, and to her ability to handle a wide variety of issues and problems that arise during the project.

Specializing in Urban Renewal

The firm provides the owners with comprehensive legal counsel, assistance and representation – starting from the organization stage, through finding and selecting the developer and advisors on behalf of the owners, and up to the completion of the project.
Since its establishment in 2011, the firm has been choosing to represent only owners of rights rather than developers and has accumulated extensive experience in this field. This fact strengthens the connection with its clients and builds the trust which is crucial for a client-attorney relationship, particularly in a transaction which is so sensitive for their properties.
The firm’s team’s extensive experience and familiarity provides it with a considerable advantage in representing and understanding the various interests of the parties, with a deep understanding of the proper way to promote urban renewal on behalf of the owners in order to maximize their rights in the contract with the developer. One of the firm’s distinctions is in its ability to separate the wheat from the chaff on the one hand while insisting on signing and complying with the important legal and commercial terms on the other hand, in a way that clearly promotes the project’s promotion and successful completion.

An ”Umbrella” of Services for the Owners in the Projects

The firm offers our clients the full umbrella of services that they require in the framework of promoting the project, such as: representation in sale transactions in a way that protects their rights in the project, applications for probate and inheritance orders, appointment of guardians, completing the registration in the Land Registrar, and legal counsel.
