About Meidar
Meidar is a leading real estate development company specializing in initiating, planning, developing and constructing premier residential and commercial projects throughout Israel, with a particular focus on urban renewal. Years of entrepreneurial experience in real estate, a rich track record and satisfied clients led the company’s founders to join forces and establish a single framework concentrating all the knowledge and experience they had accumulated over the years. The company was founded and is managed by businessmen Doron Schneider, Yechiel Frosh, Zeev Greenberg and Shmaryahu Edelman, who operate with dedication, loyalty, professionalism and many years of experience in real estate, in order to deliver the perfect product to Meidar’s clients. The company accompanies every project from the planning stage through to final handover. In recent years, Meidar has been in a period of tremendous growth, leading a long list of projects across the country in both the residential and commercial sectors alike. Meidar has set itself a clear goal for the coming years: to build not only buildings, but communities and quality living spaces.
Putting the Resident at the Center
At Meidar, we believe that a real estate transaction - and urban renewal projects in particular - is far more than an ordinary deal. It is a genuine partnership in every sense. In our view, our apartment buyers are our ambassadors, and we therefore operate with full transparency toward apartment buyers and residents, who are partners and active participants throughout the entire process. The company’s team works to provide residents with professional explanations and ongoing, real- time updates on the project’s progress at every stage. Meidar regards residents as partners along the way, placing availability, trust and mutual cooperation at the top of its priorities. The company team’s unique human mosaic, comprising employees from across the full spectrum of Israeli society, gives Meidar a distinct advantage in forging warm, personal connections with a broad range of populations throughout the country - and beyond that, enables genuine understanding of and attentiveness to our residents’ needs. Service and personal attention are core values at Meidar: residents receive a swift response, an attentive ear, and assistance with any question or request, taking into account the special needs of each population and each resident. This close relationship with residents is the secret behind the company’s ability to reach agreements quickly and efficiently, advance construction processes, and strictly maintain project timelines.
Rigorous, Precise Planning
Meidar places strong emphasis on precise, rigorous planning that takes future residents’ needs into account from the very first moment. The company’s professionalism begins as early as the zoning plan stage: meticulous planning and attention to every detail allow it to advance large- scale, complex projects with minimal delays. The Meidar team’s extensive familiarity with the intricacies of Israeli bureaucracy enables it to swiftly and efficiently advance the required permits and approvals, overcoming potential challenges and obstacles and significantly shortening project timelines. Meidar benefits from solid financial backing, strategic partners who work alongside it hand in hand, and a deep, ongoing and fruitful relationship with the entire banking system as well as the leading non- bank financial institutions that support Meidar’s projects. As a result, Meidar’s partners can enjoy peace of mind and full confidence that the construction process is supervised and responsibly managed by leading professionals in the real estate industry.
Among the Company’s Flagship Projects
In Jerusalem, Meidar is advancing the ‘Migdalei HaShisha’ project - a massive development expected to include approximately 880 new housing units and over 2,500 sq.m. of commercial space, public areas and green spaces. The zoning plan for the project has been submitted to the district committee. The company is also advancing a major demolition- reconstruction project on Iceland Street (Kiryat Menachem neighborhood), comprising approximately 450 housing units and currently undergoing zoning approval. A unique company project is “The Crown” - a boutique building that will contain 22 luxury apartments and is in advanced stages of construction.
In Tel Aviv, the company is advancing two significant combination- deal transactions.
