About Nakash Group

Nakash Group is an international investment group owned by Israeli-born brothers Joe, Ralph, and Avi Nakash. The group initiated its operations in the late 1970s as the manufacturer of the American Jordache fashion brand. The significant success of Jordache prompted Nakash Group to diversify its investments, and the conglomerate presently oversees a multitude of companies across various sectors. These sectors include hotels, real estate, airlines, shipping, agriculture, and industry, both within Israel and globally.” Avi Avi Hormaro serves as the CEO of the group and its representative in Israel.”

The Hotel Division

The Hotel division represents a key component of the group’s main activities. Nakash Group holds hotels in Europe and in Israel. The group’s hotels in Israel include the prestigious The Setai hotel chain, Herbert Samuel hotel chain and The Orchid hotel chain. The group’s hotels include The Setai Tel Aviv, The Setai Sea of Galilee, Herbert Samuel Jerusalem, The Reef Eilat, Herbert Samuel Dead Sea, Bayit Bagalil Boutique Hotel (in the Upper Galilee), Okeanos Suites Herzliya, Milos Dead Sea, Opera Tel Aviv, The Orchid Eilat, The Orchid Tel Aviv, the Ramot Resort, and Jacob hotels in Hadera and Eilat (in partnership). Additional hotels that will be launched soon include The Setai Hotel Old Acre, at Dor beach and in Tel Aviv. The group also holds rented hotels, including Ye’arim and Gordonia in the Jerusalem Hills. In addition, the group maintains full or partial ownership of numerous hotels in Europe, including Park Plaza Berlin Kudam, Art’otel Berlin Mitte, Leonardo Barcelona Las Ramblas, Leonardo Boutique Madrid, Leonardo Milan City Center, Hibiscus Rhodes Greece, France Hotel Amsterdam, and more.

The Real Estate Division

The group holds 50% of Ampa Group and Ampa Real Estate, whose properties include Ampa House Herzliya, Corex House Herzliya, Electra Tower, WeWork House (Tel Aviv), WeWork Haifa, Ampa House and Amzur House (Herzliya Pituach), Big Center (Beit Shemesh), Amtal (Rehovot), the Ruppin Academic Center, and is the owner of controlling interests in Ampa Israel, a residential developer. In 2020, Nakash Group acquired ICR, in partnership with Canada-Israel. In addition, since 2013, the company has held the franchise for operating the Eilat Port, with the option of an extension for an additional 10 years. The port serves as Israel’s southern gate to the Far East, Africa, and India, and it is mainly used for importing vehicles from the Far East and for exporting the products of Israel Chemicals Ltd.

The Agriculture Division

The company holds the olive oil brand Halutza of Ramat HaNegev. The olive plantation includes over 150,000 trees, and the oil it produces wins awards for its quality, both in Israel and abroad. The company also controls Prinir – Israel’s largest canned tomato factory, Aquatech Fisheries – which specializes in growing edible fish using high-tech methods around Ramat HaNegev, and the plastics company Amraz - which specializes in producing bottles for the soft drink industry.
