One of the firm’s founders, Adv. Nadav Olgan, served until 2022 as the managing partner of the Energy and Utilities Department at Erdinast, Ben Nathan, Toledano & Co., and is one of the pioneers in the renewable energy field in Israel. Nadav Olgan is the founding partner of Olgan Rub & Co. and one of Israel’s leading energy sector lawyers. With deep expertise in electricity and natural gas regulation, he is a pioneer in representing energy consumers.
Nadav provides strategic legal and commercial counsel to prominent entrepreneurs and energy consumers in Israel and internationally. His practice spans a wide range of energy projects, including energy infrastructure development; project lifecycle management; electricity and natural gas transactions; energy and infrastructure tenders; mergers and acquisitions; regulatory consulting and advocacy. With a deep understanding of both the local and global energy markets, Nadav has played a key role in groundbreaking electricity trading, renewable energy, and energy storage transactions that have shaped Israel’s energy sector. Nadav holds an M.B.A. with a specialization in business finance and entrepreneurship from the Hebrew University, an LL.B. from the Hebrew University, and an additional B.A., History and Political Science, from the Hebrew University. Nadav has been admitted into the Israel Bar Association since 2008.
Adv. Gal Rub
Gal is the founding partner of the firm and a leading expert in electricity trading and energy consumer representation. He advises some of Israel’s largest energy consumers. Gal specializes in structuring option agreements, partnership agreements, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) agreements, and O&M (Operation & Maintenance) agreements; advising on natural gas-based energy project initiation and development; negotiating stand-alone and integrated storage projects; facilitating power purchase agreements (PPA) from licensed electricity suppliers; overseeing factory conversions to natural gas, electric vehicle charging station developments, and fuel procurement (LPG, diesel, etc.); structuring and negotiating M&A agreements in the energy sector; representing corporations before Israeli regulatory authorities and advising on energy and infrastructure tenders.
Gal has played a pivotal role in shaping Israel’s electricity trading market, leading groundbreaking transactions, including some of the country’s first green energy PPAs. He also advises Israeli corporations on international PPAs.
Gal holds an LL.B. with a minor in management from Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A. (specialization in finance) from IDC Herzliya. Gal has been admitted into the Israel Bar Association since 2012.
