Pharma Deal Ltd. was founded in 2006 by Aharon Banian and Eliyahu Farish and it specializes in importing, marketing and distributing consumer products, cosmetics, toiletry and a variety of paramedical products. The company specializes in parallel importing and all of its products undergo meticulous quality tests and comply with strict international standards. The company’s clientele includes private pharmacies, supermarkets, minimarkets, retail marketing chains, pharma chains such as SuperPharm and Shufersal’s Be, and more.

The company, which steers clear from the spotlights, has surpassed the NIS 200M milestone in sales last year, indicating the vast dominance that it accumulated in the market during its years of operations. The company has a unique backstory, as it was established by Banian and Farish as a low-profile business that started in a small room in Farish’ yard. They’ve known each other since the age of 14 and over the years they became even more than good friends, as family ties formed between their families.
Both of them has a background in sales and management, as Banayan worked for almost 20 years in the pharma industry before he co-founded the company, mainly in the fields of pharmaceutical sales and Farish arrived from the field of cosmetics retail chains management. As aforementioned, they joined forces in 2006 and from the start they championed the values of persistence, hard work and devoted and accessible customer service, which led to their great success.
Over the years, the duo has expanded their importing lines, and accordingly grew and moved from the small room that the business occupied initially, to a large logistics warehouse.
One of the company’s main characteristics is its customer fragmentation, so that the company doesn’t rely on a single anchor customer, rather its spread evenly across the entire market.
This supports the company’s financial strength and robustness and enables it to expand prudently. Currently, the company has about 160 logistics and transportation employees and a fleet of about 10 transportation vehicles that deliver its products to all of the sale points across Israel.
From Shampoo to Digital Thermometers
Pharma Deal markets a very broad variety of products which are used by every family in Israel on a daily basis. The company’s product lines include, inter alia, products from international companies such as Mega Greece and UK-based Beauty Formula.
In addition, the company markets products such as hair emulsions, face cleansers, hair masks, skin and face creams, tampons, condoms, dishwashing soaps, nail polish removers, shaving razor blades, band aids, elastic bandages, combs, digital thermometers and more. Some of the company’s self-care and toiletry products are marketed under the home brand La Belle while others are marketed under the brand Pharma Aid which includes mainly paramedical products.
