About Prof. Lin Shaul
Dr. Lin is a Professor at the Technion Faculty of Medicine and the founder and former head of the Endodontics and Dental Trauma Department, at Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, Israel. Endodontics is the dental specialty focused on diseases of the dental pulp and root canal system. He is also an Associate Professor at the Gertner Institute – the Israeli National Center for Trauma and Emergency Medicine Research, which supports the Israeli healthcare system in shaping national health ministry.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the School of Dentistry, Tel Aviv University, Israel, in 1992, and completed his specialization in Endodontics at the same institution in 2000.
Extensive Scientific Publications
Prof. Lin is a certified member of the European Society of Endodontology and serves on the professional committee of the Israeli Endodontic Association. Over the course of his career, he
published more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals. Alongside his research activity, he maintains an active clinical practice and is involved in teaching dentistry and general medicine students at the Technion. He has been consecutively ranked among Israel’s leading dentists by Forbes Magazine and Dun’s 100.
A Pioneer in Dental Trauma
Prof. Lin chose to focus on dental trauma, a field that was historically underdeveloped. He established the Endodontics and Dental Trauma Department with the aim of increasing both the number of trained specialists and the level of professional knowledge in this area, particularly in northern Israel. The department provides advanced care for patients with severe anxiety, limited ability to cooperate with dental treatment, and complex medical conditions requiring enhanced medical supervision.
Under his leadership, the department has developed multidisciplinary collaborations with other hospital units, including the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Emergency department Over the years, Prof. Lin has invested substantial time and effort in advancing the field of dental trauma and increasing awareness of its importance, especially in northern Israel.
Advanced Private Clinic in Haifa
Since 2001, Prof. Lin has managed a private referral-based clinic in Haifa dedicated exclusively to endodontic treatments. The clinic emphasizes medical excellence alongside highly personalized patient care. With more than 25 years of experience in the field, Prof. Lin specializes in endodontic surgery (including surgical root canal resection), complex root canal procedures, dental trauma management in children, endodontics surgery (apicoendtomy), endo-perio lesions, decoronation, tooth whitening, and the treatment of patients with dentophobia and trauma-related dental anxiety.
The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced operating microscopes and digital radiography systems. Its experienced team combines extensive clinical expertise, a high level of technical proficiency, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
