Prof. Mordechai Kramer is one of Israel’s leading experts in pulmonary medicine and interventional bronchoscopy, with decades of professional experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex lung diseases. Throughout his career, he has combined advanced clinical practice, medical research, public service, and the training of future generations of pulmonary specialists in Israel.

Prof. Kramer specializes in a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, infectious lung diseases, autoimmune lung diseases, sarcoidosis, silicosis, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer, and pleural diseases. One of his principal areas of expertise is interventional bronchoscopy, a field in which he has worked extensively in both diagnosis and advanced treatment, including airway obstruction management, laser therapies, stent insertion, biopsies, and the early diagnosis of malignant and complex pulmonary diseases.
Prof. Kramer was also the founder of lung transplantation in Israel and has been responsible for more than 1,000 lung transplants performed in the country.
