Eran Bezalel is one of the firm’s Co-Managing Partners. Eran has rich and diverse experience in a vast array of complex commercial and administrative litigation.
Eran represents and accompanies leading entities in the Israeli economy, alongside numerous government companies, in intricate disputes encompassing the areas of commercial law, administrative law, contract law, corporate law and competition law. His vast experience in commercial litigation includes handling complicated economic cases, administrative petitions and class actions.
As head of the Tenders Department, Eran has overseen and accompanied and continues to oversee and accompany some of the largest tenders and procurement procedures in Israel in the realms of infrastructure, transportation, energy, water desalination, pharmaceuticals and retail, in scopes of billions of shekels – as well as advising and accompanying local regulatory authorities and governmental companies. Eran provides legal counsel on the procurement procedures and accompanies his clients throughout the entire stages of the complex tender process, including from the perspective of financing and project management and, where required, representation in tender related disputes, either before the various instances or by employing alternative dispute resolution measures.
Eran has advised on numerous groundbreaking national projects involving public-private partnerships (PPPs), including: the high-speed rail tunnel to Jerusalem, the light rail systems in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the Highway 1 fast lane project, extensions of the Cross-Israel Highway, including new northern segments, the IDF technological campus project and water desalination tenders in both Sorek and the Western Galilee, and others. Additionally, Eran advises on tenders for the procurement of services and equipment in diverse areas, such as pharmaceuticals, technology, finance, infrastructure and construction.
In 2014, Eran was named one of Israel's "40 Under 40 Promising Professionals" by TheMarker, Israel’s leading financial magazine.
In 2020, The Legal 500 recognized Eran as a leading partner in dispute resolution—local litigation and arbitration—describing him as a “very professional and brilliant litigator.”
