Shbiro Group is one of Israel’s oldest and leading real estate groups. The company maintains exclusive, independent and complete control over the execution of the projects across its numerous fields of operations. The group has built about 30 thousands housing units across Israel and participated in the establishment of new neighborhoods in dozens of projects in high-demand areas across Gush Dan, the Sharon and Shfela regions, from Haifa in the north to Kiryat Gat in the south. In many of these projects the company also built commercial centers. The group’s story goes back to the construction company which was established by Yaacov Shbiro, Rami’s father, in 1940s. Decades later, Rami married Ronit, a lawyer by profession, and in 1995 they decided to re-establish the group in its current form. The group is active in real estate development and execution, planning and construction of residential neighborhoods, student dormitories, yielding properties, commerce and hotels.

Building Since 1944

Shbiro Group’s traces its history back to the years before the establishment of the State of Israel, and its story also tells the story of the generation of pioneers who founded the State of Israel. Yaacov Shbiro, a new immigrant from Iraq who was an Irgun fighter who fought in the Independence War, started to build houses residential buildings in Tel Aviv with his two brothers. When Rami, his youngest son, grew up, he also started working in the group in construction execution and building the country with his own two hands. In his 20s, Rami married Ronit and they continued the construction momentum for several decades. Over the past few years, their children Dar and Roi joined the group, Roi in the execution operations and Dar in the yielding properties segment. The Shbiro family views the continued building of the land of Israel for generations to come as an absolute value.

Building Israel

Shbiro Group views itself as an inseparable part of the national initiative and enterprise of building the State of Israel. Its significant contribution to the building of Israel is expressed both in large-scale projects and the creation of advanced, high-quality residential environments, and in social and moral involvement and support in the community.

The Human Capital

Preserving and developing the company’s human capital is one of its core values. The group employs almost 600 employees in headquarters and execution positions. The group pays meticulous attention to employee safety and health and conducts ongoing learning and improvement processes in this area.

Community Service

In the framework of the “Swords of Iron” war the group worked with a sense of national mission and donated to IDF combat units, including the unit of Duvdevan, as part of its deep national commitment. Furthermore, members of the Shbiro family take a personal and touching part in the national effort to rehabilitate, support and adopt the released hostages and IDF disabled veterans – offering them a warm hug, and true support and assistance on their path to returning to a full civilian life. These activities reflect the group’s spirit and values – Zionism, social responsibility, faith, and constant striving for connecting the physical construction with the construction of a strong and cohesive society.
