Architecture Industry Leaders Forum 2025

On May 21^st , the annual Duns 100 forum took place with the participation of senior figures from Israel's architecture industry.
Held at the Royal Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv, the forum was expertly moderated by real estate expert Dafna Shahar, as we tackled the key challenges currently facing the industry.

Topics discussed included:
• The workforce shortage in the field and proposed solutions, such as outsourcing or hiring architectural engineers
• The impact of the political situation, rising costs, and ways to address them
• The influence of the “Iron Swords” war on the industry and the need for adaptable design in an ongoing conflict reality
• Artificial intelligence – a glimpse into the future with innovative tools already transforming work processes
• Structural safety in an era of change – coping with earthquake threats and opportunities in urban renewal, while preserving historical facades
• Economic challenges – addressing payment ethics and the erosion of architectural fees in a tough financial climate

Despite the challenges, the forum concluded on a note of optimism and renewal.
