Duns 100 Forum seniors in the real estate industry 2024

This morning, [Tuesday],01.16.24, we held the annual Duns 100 forum with the participation of senior officials of the real estate industry in Israel. The forum was held at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv, under the guidance of Dafna Shahar, a real estate expert lawyer. The forum was led by Ariel Schreiber, with Revital Roth by his side, who presented the current industry review.

The discussion focused on the challenges faced by the industry during one of the most challenging periods, with a sharp rise in interest rates, global economic slowdown, specific challenges experienced by Israel, and the critical impacts created by the "Iron Swords" war on the real estate sector.

Prominent topics that emerged from the discussion included:

Human resource shortages and the employment of foreign workers.

Rehabilitation of residences in the aftermath of war damages.

Dealing with the bureaucracy by providing a channel that will allow the issuance of building permits in shorter times, the effects of the crisis that existed in the industry before the war and where the industry is headed in 2024.
