Family Mediation Forum 2026
On January 27, Duns 100 held its first forum of 2026, hosted for the first time at the new offices of Dun & Bradstreet.
This marked the first Duns 100 forum dedicated to the field of family and inheritance mediation, bringing together leading women practitioners from the field.
The forum focused on the development of family mediation and its growing standing within the legal arena a shift that reflects how family mediation has evolved from a complementary mechanism into a central professional tool, influencing dispute resolution processes and contributing to the reduction of burdens on the judicial system.
During the forum, we presented the professional foundations and responsibility that underpin the Duns 100 ranking, alongside an examination of the ranking as a strategic tool for positioning mediation practices. In addition, the discussion addressed the impact of artificial intelligence on the mediation field, including the opportunities offered by technology, as well as the risks and ethical dilemmas associated with its integration into professional practice.
The discussion also focused on the role of the mediator in an era of complex conflicts, the need for broader legal recognition of the field and the required balance between legal expertise, human sensitivity and complementary professional tools.
