Family law and inheritance Forum 2023

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, we held the annual Duns 100 forum with the participation of senior members of the legal branch in the field of family and inheritance law. The forum was held at the Royal Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv. Gideon Oko, editor, and presenter at News 12, hosted the forum.

The forum dealt with the hot topics in the industry, including the meaning of changing the probable cause law in the field of family law, the violation of the balance by giving power to the rabbinic courts over court rulings and the implications for child support, and for women's rights, the implications for the power of High Court judges. The issue of LGBT rights and surrogacy processes was also discussed.

The forum was also attended by Ben Zion Figelson, the General Custodian and Commissioner for Inheritance Affairs at the Ministry of Justice.
