What are the significant strengths of your firm in your eyes?
Without doubt the people. "Special Forces" for the most complex litigation missions.
What are the main measures carried out recently that will lead to the strengthening of the firm in the coming years?
The firm does not stand still for one moment. Together with the heavy load of (legal) work that the partners have taken on, which is only intensifying, much thought and resources are put into hiring quality people and training them, and acquiring new clients.
What are the firm's main challenges in the coming years?
Maintaining the "nature reserve" that we have founded here, despite the very competitive market, which is based more on marketing talent and not necessarily on quality work.
What advice would you offer a manager who is just starting out?
Two main recommendations:
1. Remember that soul players are the best players.
2. Try to get through the day in such a way that you will be able to ultimately look at yourself in the mirror.
What is important to remember during difficult times?
How do you define "difficult times?" From my point of view "difficult times," are times when I am full of doubts – have I chosen correctly? Is the price worth it? And more.
In difficult times I remind myself that nobody finds himself over time in a place that he does not want to be in; The choice was and still is mine; Tomorrow morning I will come to the office and a new challenge will face me (again).
