G.S. Construction and Urban Renewal Ltd. is a boutique family construction company (C3 classified) that has been established by its owner and founder Saher Gabarin in 1986. Over its four decades of operations, the company has handled many prominent projects in central Tel Aviv, and to this day constructs only in this city. In the last 20 years, the company has specialized in urban renewal, with many pinui-binui, NOP 38, and preservation projects carried out for private developers and acquisition groups.

Prominent Projects

30 Chen Blvd., Tel Aviv – A prestigious NOP 38/1 (retrofit) project located on one of Tel Aviv’s most iconic and exclusive boulevards. Executed for a private developer, the project includes 5 floors with 14 apartments. The works included structural reinforcement, adding additional residential units, construction of a luxury penthouse, stairwell, elevator, underground parking, pump rooms, and water reservoirs. The project has been completed and populated.
25 Sheinkin St., Tel Aviv – NOP 38/2 (demolition and reconstruction) project consisting of a commercial floor and 6 residential floors with a total of 11 apartments. Executed for a private developer, the project included significant logistical challenges due to its location in one of Tel Aviv’s most densely populated areas – a long, narrow, one-way street with bike lanes, shops, and significant pedestrian traffic. Construction coincided with development works for the light rail, requiring complex operations such as casting, crane lifts, and other heavy machinery work to be carried out at night. The company also installed an underground parking stacker system for residents’ convenience. The project has been completed and populated.
9 Gruzenberg St., Tel Aviv – This project included structural frame construction and finishing works for a private developer. The complex scope included demolition of an old building and the construction of a 5-floors frame structure, featuring a street-level commercial floor and an underground parking garage. The company also carried out high-quality finishing works for the residential units. The project was successfully completed within just one year.
48 Sheinkin St., Giv’atayim – A structural frame construction project completed within 10 months. The project included the demolition of an existing building and the construction of an 8.5-floors frame structure as well as a basement floor.
176–178 Dizengoff St., Tel Aviv – A highly complex construction project which two plots: one with a historic preservation building and the other with a structure slated for demolition. Due to the strict preservation requirements, the company performed the challenging and delicate process of suspending the preserved building above ground, while excavating beneath it to add underground residential units and technical areas. The project was carried out in full coordination with the Tel Aviv Municipal Preservation Department. It includes 7 floors and 24 apartments. The project has been completed and populated.
47 Ben Yehuda St., Tel Aviv – A unique NOP 38/1 project involving the reinforcement of an existing 18-unit residential building and the addition of 21 new premium-standard apartments, including a 300 sq.m. luxury penthouse with a private swimming pool and sea views. The project included comprehensive renovation of all existing apartments, adding balconies, and landscaping of fences, lanes, and public areas. The project posed significant logistical challenges due to its location on a street with a single public transport lane and its proximity to the sea, with the risk of groundwater damage. Limited traffic access required substantial night work, and proximity to the sea required creative engineering solutions, including deep pile foundations and beam casting. Completed and populated.
14 Ezra HaSofer St., Tel Aviv – A prestigious NOP 38/2 project on an old 12-apartments building, located near the beach. The company demolished the structure and is building in its place a modern, architecturally designed building with 9 floors and 18 high-end residential units. Due to its proximity to the sea, construction requires complex engineering work, including excavation in groundwater. Under construction.
NOY on HaMeyasdim St., Hod HaSharon – A luxury private homes project located on the city’s most prestigious street. The company is building 12 meticulously designed semi-detached cottages, each featuring a high-spec, premium finish, and precise planning. Under construction.
