What are the firm's most significant strengths in your eyes?
The firm provides all services in criminal law (civil and military) in all stages at the highest level of specialization from the initial arrest and until the indictment procedure, hearing, conducting of the trial, plea bargains, parole boards, prisoners' appeals and requests for pardons. The firm also represents defendants in semi-criminal proceedings and significant proceedings for disciplinary offences in various organizations. At international level, the firm is engaged in extradition proceedings, representation in judicial enquiries and legal support and consultancy to Israelis under arrest in other countries worldwide.
What are the main measures carried out recently that will lead to the strengthening of the firm in the coming years?
Professional publications, and authoring the book "Criminal Law" as well as lecturing at various professional forums, conferences and universities including to lawyers, investigators, judges, and jurists, officers and security personnel. Lectures to workers organizations, soldiers, high school students on various subjects in the field of criminal law in all its aspects. Exposure of the firm and deepening its know-how are an important foundation stone contributing to the firm from the academic and professional point of view.
What are the firm's main challenges in the coming years?
The main challenges have been and remain providing the best response to clients and their families who remain in great distress. To worry about protecting their rights with determination and persistence in a reality of changing lives and unending legislation to create new offences in various areas of life.
What advice would you offer a lawyer who is staring out?
To maintain the honor of the profession and human dignity. To take care that media exposure will only be of a type to benefit the client, and that it will not God forbid damage him. To specialize in an area and maintain cooperation with lawyers in other areas of law.
What is important to remember even in difficult times?
That there is someone to fight on your behalf and stand on your rights.
