What is a significant move you have recently done?
The firm has been increasingly representing significant clients in the fields of hi-tech and commercial law lately. However, aside from those, what distinguishes the firm from other law offices, despite its involvement in a variety of practice areas, is its strongest forte, the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector. We have garnered recognition and prestige in this field, having participated in token offerings, advised various crypto exchanges, and represented our clients in blockchain-related commercial agreements across different countries (including Israel, Australia, Malta, the Seychelles, the USA, the Cayman Islands, the UK, Gibraltar, and more). We are also the first law firm in Israel to advise and complete the acquisition deal of a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).

Furthermore, in the past year, we have expanded our areas of practice and had the opportunity to represent major companies in construction and infrastructure deals. For instance, we represented CREC and EEB in various transactions related to different projects involving light rail in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. We also handled agreements between contractors and major construction companies such as Solel Boneh, Shikun & Binui, Minrav Group, and others in diverse projects such as the management campus of Discount Bank, Data Center in Bnei Zion, various projects in the basic training city of Be'er Sheva in the south, and more.

In the past year, several clients of the firm have reached significant milestones, either through mergers and acquisitions or by selling or purchasing other companies, reaching their peak. In this area as well, we were delighted to assist, represent, and support them in various transactions.

What are the significant strengths of the company to you?
We are a law firm with a strong business and technological orientation. I believe this provides us with a tremendous advantage in terms of our ability to maintain an "open mind." This technological orientation has become ingrained in me after years of experience in technical roles in the tech industry and helps me personally, and the firm generally, to be closer to the technological aspects of each of our clients and the transactions we represent. Technical knowledge in such transactions gives us the ability to progress much faster than most other law firms and offer creative and unique solutions. Additionally, due to our high business approach and responsiveness, we can arrive at a business solution faster than most other firms, catering to the needs of both parties and cutting through to facilitate a quicker deal.

What are the central moves that were recently done, and would lead to the company's strengthening in the years to come?
In recent years, our firm has gained a reputation as a thought leader in the field. Our firm established Israel's Blockchain Summit, and Adv. Gil Solomon is a sought-after speaker at conferences worldwide on various technology topics. As a result of this exposure, our firm has developed communication with thought leaders in the business and technology world and has extensive knowledge regarding all developments in the local and global markets.

What are the main challenges of the company in the next few years?
One of the main challenges in my view is expanding our activity and organic growth. I intend to work towards this goal in the coming years.

What are your recommendations for a manager at the beginning of his path?
"As long as you are alive, you will live to fulfill your dreams and goals, or you will be a resource for someone else's." Be goal-oriented at all times.

Know how to seize opportunities – Alon Ulman, whom I greatly appreciate, says, "Luck is an opportunity meeting preparation," and I firmly believe in it. In our journey, we encounter many opportunities that, if seized, will enhance and upgrade our careers dramatically. In recent years, for example, we have seen two such areas almost growing out of nowhere – the blockchain field and the privacy protection field, which, with the GDPR legislation in Europe, gained momentum from a sector whose relevance was in doubt to a significant field with massive exposure to clients. Lawyers who know how to capitalize on such trends will undoubtedly advance much faster than their counterparts.

What is important to remember, even in hard times?
It is important to cultivate understanding and realize that sometimes tough times are meant to either challenge us or promote us to a place more suitable for us. In a legal career, it is essential to maintain optimism.

For example, the biggest crisis in my career led me to a place where I specialized in the blockchain field, which propelled my career immensely and gave me the opportunity to excel in the field at a relatively young age and with relatively short experience.
