What recent key move did you lead?
The NEXT TLV project – a large Pinui-Binui project on La Guardia Av. In Tel Aviv. This is the company’s flagship project which execution started this year, and it is currently under construction.
What are the firm’s strongest attributes?
More than anything I believe, that owing to our vast experience we learned to gain an in-depth understanding of the residents’ needs, to identify such needs and to handle them proficiently, alongside with a very thorough familiarity of the planning authorities in Pinui-Binui projects, which enables us to minimize the duration of the proceeding.
Which of the firm’s recent key moves will lead to it becoming stronger over the next few years?
Over the next few years, the company would promote more than a few large urban renewal projects and execute a substantial part of them, so that projects that are currently at the planning or evacuation stages – would be built and populated.
What are the main challenges facing firm in the next few years?
As a company that understands, that the most important thing in urban renewal is the residents of the renewing complexes, it is very important for us to maintain an ongoing and systematic contact with the residents, also and in particular in light of the expansion in the company’s portfolio.
What would you recommend an up and coming executive?
When we started to work in the Pinui-Binui area we were alone in the field, but in recent years many enterpenuers discovered it and market themselves as Pinui-Binui experts. From my experience, even after 10 years of working in this field I am still discovering new things every day. Thus, I recommend to each executive to understand that this is a very complex field, don’t be disregardful and learn it in depth before you make large obligations.
What should one remember during hardships?
In my view, the most important thing is to remember that the residents, and not the initiator, are always the owners of the transaction.
