What recent key move did you lead?
Marketing and selling hundreds of apartments in more than eight different projects across Israel, while simultaneously launching new projects. Over the past year, we sold apartments in projects in Haifa, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and Eilat: These were mainly luxury apartments in projects such as "Philharmonic" in the "North Star" neighborhood in Tel Aviv, special apartments in the VIP section of the "Turquoise" project in Haifa, and penthouses in Eilat. In addition, we launched new projects that we have been planning for a long time, including a particularly luxurious project in Tel Aviv – "Noga 1" and a follow-up boutique project in Eilat – "Golf Gold".
What are the firm’s strongest attributes?
Yossi Avrahami works in accordance with its vision and an organized strategic plan. We constantly review ourselves in accordance with the same standards we set ourselves – standards such as excellence, building quality and customer service at the highest level. We learn and reach conclusions in each project and from every project, and we implement them in the next projects, and this is why we continue to lead the Israeli luxury residences segment.
Which of the firm’s recent key moves will lead to it becoming stronger over the next few years?
Over the past year, we purchased lands for building future projects in significant and strategic locations across Israel: Lots in HaYarkon St. in Tel Aviv and near Eilat's old airport. Simultaneously, we are reviewing new transactions in order to expand the company's scope of operations. Simultaneously, we continue to industriously study the urban renewal segment and we believe that in the coming years this area of operations would take a significant share of our operations.
What are the main challenges facing the firm in the next few years?
Over the next few years, the company would continue to lead the Israeli Luxury Residences segment, and the challenge would be to continue and provide the buyers with the best product with the highest quality. We would continue and maintain the high standards in our projects and even continue and update our standard in order to guarantee that we continue to lead the market in this segment.
An addition challenge would be to reach Jewish populations abroad, who wish to buy properties in Israel: Yossi Avrahami has been working with these populations for many years and would continue to expand these activities.
What would you recommend an up and coming executive?
Up-and-coming executives must be persistent on three levels in order to succeed: Diligence, Perseverance and Ambition. Up-and-coming executives must know their data, learn and gain in-depth proficiency in their areas of operations from end-to-end, to be very adaptive and know how to change strategies in accordance with market dynamics. He must be persistent, as this is the only way to learn the secrets of the crafts, and without ambition – he won't be able to move forward.
What should one remember during hardships?
There is always a new day – when the challenge can be overcome.
