What recent key move did you lead?
Recently, we've been benefiting from several significant moves, one of them being the "formalization" of the Group's technology investments arm. This arm enables tech companies to benefit from capital investments from our group, but also from another investment, of a different kind, priceless – the option that our technology marketing arm would promote their products. The investee companies, as young companies with new products and very little sales and income, benefit from value appreciation (due to the sales) while the entrepreneurs and investors benefit, beyond the value appreciation, also from a safer investment and lower risk. We turn startups at advanced stages into real businesses.
What are the firm's strongest attributes?
The company's major strengths stem from several sources, in my opinion, and I would like to discuss some major ones.
The first is our team. Our organization is built some of the best human capital in the world and at the very least in the Israeli economy, with each team member being a leader in their respective field. Another strength is the eco-system that we created, which enables our clients to benefit from the acquisition of various advanced technologies, and to benefit from financing that makes technology accessible for them.
Which of the firm’s recent key moves will lead to it becoming stronger over the next few years?
The group acquired, invested in and integrated several significant technology companies, and this enables it to offer diverse services for its clients, and we also boosted our broad data management, and all that was left to do was to bring in finance and IT personnel, mission accomplished.
What are the main challenges facing the firm in the next few years?
To fine-tune our information management systems and offer our clients more services, with the core being 'identifying Market Requirements".
Due to the fact that the organization grew and so many wonderful people devote themselves to the process, I am certain that every challenge would be transformed into a successful move.
What would you recommend an up-and-coming executive?
First of all, enjoy the ride, when this would be your goal, you will be rewarded in plenty. Second, invest in people, they are the real asset of any organization.
What should one remember during hardships?
When you get this feeling, this usually means that you are in labor, something new is arriving, keep your breath at the right pace and expect something good, it is here.
