Israel Business Excellence Event 2015
Dun & Bradstreet Group together with Globes, which accompany the Israeli market and economy for decades, have followed their DUN'S 100 tradition and continued to present the Business Excellence Mark.
Awarding the Dun's 100 Mark of Excellence, which began in 2005, is a salute and demonstration of appreciation to business excellence and endeavor in Israel.
This year Dun & Bradstreet Group together with Globes will continue to demonstrate their appreciation by selecting the 10 excellent companies, which impacted and led the Israeli economy during the passing year, and demonstrated remarkable achievements. In addition, Dun & Bradstreet Group together with Globes will present the "LifeTime Achievement Award" to a leading business figure.
The winners will be selected by a panel of esteemed judges; elected from past winners, as well as from important figures of the Israeli economy. The winners will be chosen among the ranked DUN'S 100 companies of the passing year, while focusing on the outstanding, which showed remarkable financial growth during this time.
Initially, the winner's sectors are decided among the: industry, commerce or services sectors, including sub-sectors: construction, real estate and finance. Then, the companies which excelled are chosen from those sectors. These companies are leading the ranking charts, are considered major employers and have also presented remarkable financial growth during the passing year.
The winners chosen must meet the following criteria: an industry/sector leader over a long period of time; stable management; unique strategic move; entering new unfamiliar territories and markets during the passing year; a leading/ major employer, setting an example for others; social and environmental responsibility; strategic long-term vision; remarkable business results; and a positive influence and financial effect on the economy. This year's winner were: Mobileye; Check Point; Srauss Group; Teva; Shikun U Binui; Bank Hapoalim; Elbit; Rafael; the Rami Levy chain; and the Fox Group.
A special "Lifetime Achievement Award" was awarded to the founders of "Ormat", Yehuda and Yehudit (Dita) Bronicki. They were awarded for their significant long-standing contributions to the industry, the society and the environment in Israel for over 50 years, in the fields of Science and Technology, and for leaving behind a generation of ground-braking entrepreneurs.
The Marks of Excellence were presented during a luxurious Gala Event, which was held with the participation of Israel's top executives who lead the local business sector and the economy, as well as with generations of business leaders.
