Cnaan Group (“Cnaan”) is one of the pioneers of ”Urban Renewal” in Israel. Cnaan specializes in residential projects, promotion of “Urban Renewal Pinui-Binui” complexes, and “Tama 38” (Demolition and Reconstruction) projects. Cnaan is ranked at the top of “Urban Renewal” rankings and has proven success in completed and populated projects around Israel. Cnaan takes into consideration the unique needs of residents and owners, who are full partners of all processes, and the needs of the buyers of new apartments in those complexes. Cnaan operates in numerous “Pinui-Binui” complexes in Israel’s metropolitan areas, including Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv, Kiryat Uno, Givat Shmuel, Netanya, Ness Ziona, Petah Tikva and Jerusalem. Cnaan specializes in locating neighborhoods and buildings which are in need of “Pinui Binui” or “Tama 38”. The group is at the hight of marketing and constructing the ‘Alma’ project in Kiryat Ono, which includes 765 apartments and approximately 5,000 square meters of commercial and office space. Additionally, in the coming year, they plan to launch another marketing phase for approximately 500 apartments as part of an urban renewal (evacuation-reconstruction) scheme. Cnaan was founded by Eyal Handler, Meir Tal, and Niv Rom (the “Founders”). The Founders are actively involved in the projects’ life cycle in order to create a modern high-quality residential environment while adhering to the strictest standards in the building industry. “Pinui-Binui” Projects
Smart Towers, Ramat Gan: The eviction of 48 apartments, and the construction of around 168 new apartments across two 23 story buildings. The project was marketed and populated;
Levi Eshkol South, Kiryat Ono: The eviction of 232 apartments and the construction of 765 new apartments, commerce area and offices; The project is marketed. Construction has begun;
Neve Yehoshua, Ramat Gan: The eviction of 116 apartments and the construction of 330 new ones;
Negba, Ramat Gan: The eviction of 124 properties slated for demolition, and the construction of approximately 350 apartments and new commercial units across two towers;

Ownership
Mr. Eyal Handler, Chairman of Cnaan, has a B.A. in Economics and Accounting, and an M.B.A. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Eyal served as an owner and partner of an accounting firm for approximately two decades, of which 14 years as a partner in “Deloitte”, one of the Big Four firms in the world. Eyal also served as the CEO of a publicly traded promotion and construction company. Eyal has over a decade of experience in the construction and real estate industries. He has been serving as a director in several business entities and NGOs.
Mr. Meir Tal, CEO of Cnaan, has over 24 years of experience in real estate initiation, marketing, management and sales. Meir served as the marketing and development manager of large private companies in the real estate industry. In 2005 Meir served as VP, Marketing and Development of the Faire Fund of Shoval-Grofman Real Estate. Meir is a founder and partner of the real estate division of the Israeli Construction Center. In his capacity as an entrepreneur, he established among others “urban renewal” complexes and led the planning and the marketing of several urban building schemes in high-demand areas.
Mr. Niv Rom, CEO of Cnaan Urban Renewal Ltd., has a B.A., Business Administration and International Trade. He served as the marketing and sales manager of the Israel Construction Center’s Real Estate Group. In the framework of this role, he organized and produced the Israel Construction Center’s national apartment expo, annually wrote a book about purchasing an apartment and managed the Center’s marketing function. After retiring from this role, he founded Cnaan with his Partners, Eyal Handler and Meir Tal.
