CityBee Architecture & Design is a unique offic in the Israeli Architecture Industry. The office is active in the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and development and is involved in numerous projects across Israel, ranging from residences, offices, and hotels to commerce, neighborhood planning and more. The office was founded in 2011 by Co-CEOs Eran Leshem and Eran Shaked, celebrating its 12th year. The core principle of the firm’s operation has been the planning of “Good Architecture”, architecture that creates projects with social, aesthetical, economic and other values. For this purpose, the firm invests tremendous efforts in turning architectural drawings that are based on professional inner truth into a built reality. Another strategic principle that has been accompanying the firm since its establishment is focusing on large planning projects in which the company’s capabilities come to fruition.

CityBee, A Hive of Creativity

40 professional and creative architects and practical engineers work in the office alongside Eran Leshem and Eran Shaked. The office’s name doesn’t include the partners’ names, from a conscious decision to create a space of professionalism and creation that isn’t based on a strict hierarchy, rather on a large and professional team that has room for expression, influence, and development. The office’s teamwork has been leading to its prominent achievements, while Eran Leshem and Eran Shaked have been working synergistically to deploy and realize its vision.

20 Years of Partnership

CityBee Architecture & Design was formally incorporated in 2011, but the partnership between its founders Shaked and Leshem was conceived twenty years ago, during their academic studies at the University of Ariel. Afterward, their paths split as Leshem turned to the public sector while Shaked chose the private sector, with the clear aim of gaining experience in both realms before founding the unique firm.

Sharona Complex, Tel Aviv: Planning the three new residential towers in this central complex of Tel Aviv, in cooperation with Moshe Zur Architects.
Unity Tower, Ramat Gan: Planning this unique tower, that includes about 200 apartments in 36 stories.
Ivory Tower, Bat Yam: A tower that was planned with a special formalistic tribute, with office floors at the lower part and sea-view luxury apartments at the top.
1000 Complex, Rishon LeZion - The planning of several residential and commercial complexes. Ariel Sharon Park: Creating the zoning plan for the Ariel Sharon Park, that is considered to be Israel’s largest metropolitan park.
Lot 53, Bat Yam - Planning of a mixed-use complex: hotels, residences, commercial and public spaces.
