About AppsFlyer

AppsFlyer is an Israeli high-tech company founded in 2011 by Oren Kaniel (CEO and Founder) and Reshef Mann (CTO and Founder). The company operates at the intersection of mobile technology and big data, and today is considered the world’s leading company in analyzing and measuring marketing campaigns. AppsFlyer’s platform allows companies, app developers, advertisers, and product managers to analyze the effectiveness of mobile advertising while optimizing various advertising channels. This enables its clients to maximize and streamline their marketing investments, ultimately boosting profitability.

Pioneers in Mobile Measurement

Over a decade ago, Mann and Kaniel identified that, alongside the rapid growth in app usage, there was no effective way to measure mobile marketing efforts across diverse channels and their impact on customers. To meet this need, they developed AppsFlyer’s platform, which provided an in-depth understanding of which channels, companies, and campaigns delivered results—and which did not. Additionally, the platform enabled users to measure the complete journey from when a user clicks on a specific banner until they leave the app. It reveals where users came from, what they did in the app, and how much they spent.

Impressive Growth Rate

AppsFlyer has maintained remarkable growth since its early days. In 2014, the company completed its first funding round, raising $7.1 million, and a year later raised another $20 million. In 2017, it secured an additional $56 million, and in 2020, it stunned the market by raising $210 million at a valuation of $1.4 billion. Between 2017 and 2021, its workforce quadrupled, and in 2019, the company reported surpassing $150 million in annual revenue.

Acquisition of Two Successful Startups in Two Weeks

In late 2023, AppsFlyer acquired devtodev, a company helping developers analyze their games and apps. Shortly afterward, it acquired the Israeli startup oolo, which now operates as “oolo by AppsFlyer.”
These acquisitions strengthened AppsFlyer’s core product offerings and services, providing various solutions for marketing, growth, and monetization teams. The purchases are part of a strategic move to create a new marketplace within the AppsFlyer Privacy Cloud, enabling companies and organizations to share information securely.

1,500 Employees and Offices Worldwide

Headquartered in Herzliya Pituach, the company employs about 1,500 people in 20 offices worldwide. Today, AppsFlyer analyzes billions of mobile actions across approximately 89,000 active apps for more than 15,000 brands globally, including Amazon, Alibaba, Kayak, Playtika, Waze, and HBO.
Among the company’s thousands of partners are Meta, Google, Apple, Twitter, Snap, Tencent, and more. AppsFlyer’s clients in Israel include Bank Leumi, Bank Hapoalim, and Gett.
